First among 11 Rudras is Manyu, the war god, wielder of thunder and Slayer of foes. He is the one who brings wealth and health.

Through him Vidur and his wife Sulabha beget a son, named Manvendra, who was fierce, queller of foes, follower of Dharma and was popularly known as the guardian of Kuru-rashtra.

Growing up in a conspicuous kingdom, where your sworn enemies are your own cousins, Manvendra grows up to be an extremely reserved person. His hard exterior could be attributed to a curse, making him seem like a cruel and heartless warrior.

But what happens when Dhisana, princess of a Mleccha Kingdom comes in his life by tying the knot. The catch ? He reduced her kingdom to dust and she was offered to him for peace making.
