This book is based in the 1800s around the same time of Bridgerton, and is inspired by the show as well. As you read you may find similarities, so think of it as a fan book. It's a story between a girl named Layla Whitlock and a boy named Nathaniel Harrington. Interestingly their story starts with a "No", but how will it end? They both have secrets but how will that affect their story? Will their secrets tear them apart, or keep them together? Not only however is their story taking place, but others around them. Story's of love, desire, deceit, and/or pain. So how will this affect our main story? You'll just have to read to find out.
