A plague was gone unnoticed for years, tainting every instance of anything it interacts with. Only the Affixed -those without Apparitions- can sense the Taint, they were also immune to it. After extensive research, a horrifying truth emerged. A cure could only be synthesized with the help of the Hated, a rare type of apparition deemed a danger to society. After the senior researcher Uriel manages to get his hands on Nyx -a Hated formerly part of the curved hand gang- and manages to convince her into assisting him in navigating the maze-like cave she once called home and winning over the illusion dispeller from the crooked claws gang, hopefully being able to help recognize the plague.

This is the old version of this book. It will be discontinued but there is currently a new version being made right now which is on my profile. Koa, a 17 year old boy lived in a world full of shifters. It's his last year of high school and he is ready to be done and move on with his life. Tomorrow is his 18th birthday which indicates he will finally be able to find his mate. Throughout his first day as a senior, he found his classes and even made friends on the way. In one of his classes though, English, a conversation started on the topic of the known to be extinct dragon shifters. Even though it got dark, he remained the same and went on about his day. Many people avoided Koa due to him being intimidating. He was known for having a bad temper and getting into many fights for no absolute reason. And surprisingly, he was an omega with the looks and temper of an alpha. Excited to meet his mate, he couldn't wait for the day to end, but little did he know his life would change forever on the day he thought would be his best. The Soldier and the Thief
A seemingly unstoppable disease is quickly spreading through the realm of Itteros. It has many names - The Shaking Death, Rooster Tongue, The Lurgy. The After Effects
After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. Thankfully I was able to escape his peachy influence and take some control of my new life. What I don't know is the Plague brought on after effects. Everything changed eleven years ago and only a few knew what actually happened after billions of people died. That all changes one-day though and I found my life completely flipped upside down.
