The Safe Haven is the chance for everyone to finally be free, to forget the hell that went through and just live. It's their chance to make up for losing their lives. Aris wants that too, more than he's ever wanted anything.

He just can't have it. Not when Y/N's still around, reminding him that no matter what happens WCKD will always be there. Whether they know it or not, the marks they left, that she left, cannot be undone.

Maybe they could be forgiven though. While they should never be forgotten they should be learned from.
