In Namimori Middle School, The Gardening Club is an oddity talked about under hushed voices. There's only one member of the club since an infamous incident two years ago. The Captain of the Gardening Club is a mixed race and talks with the occasional Osaka accent despite being born in Namimori.

Yukimura Eitou, after twists and turns, became the captain of the Gardening Club. He's a good natured senior with a lax attitude, and may be a bit more petty than a normal person- but he feels very comfortable here.
The reason? He used to be a passionate 25 years old teacher concerned about the wellbeing of youths- before dying pathetically in a gang war involving his previous students.

(Attention: definitely not the story I'm most proud of... wrote this in my free time, wasn't too into detail - at all.
