Aren't you scared of becoming a slave to freedom? As a 17 year old girl whose mother abused her, Naomi has never known what freedom is, only dreamt of it. But now it's her only constant thought. For her, freedom slowly becomes a drug, something she only gets a taste of when she begs for it. When acting freely and showing even the slightest bit of power makes you a target and having dreams and willpower lands you in a white lab room to be experimented on, you might just find yourself clawing at the feet of sanity. Naomi lives in Sector One of the BRICS+ Alliance. One of the many sectors created after the war that ended in nuclear bombs, 50 years ago. One of the many but few places left habitable on Earth. Although it's meant to be a haven it quickly turns into a prison for Naomi. As she is taken from the clutches of her mother and thrown into a cold new Sector. An unknown Sector. And she's not the only one. A large number of other teenagers are thrown into this undocumented place. A place which soon becomes a warm home for them but really? Can anyone actually trust the things of the world that we live in? Can Naomi and her new group of friends really trust the beautiful speech given to everyone? Can they trust that the teens that were shot that fateful night are still alive? Can they trust that the experiments done to them are for the betterment of the broken world around them? Can they really contain young souls burning with vengeance and love and thirsty for freedom? Young souls that used to be innocent and hopeful but have now seen the shadows that dance around at night. Throwing some of them into breeding programs, cutting the limbs of others to see if they'll grow back and torturing the rest to see how strong the human mind really can be. Yeah that's all definitely for the betterment of the world. 🛑There will be violence, abuse, bullying and suicide in some parts of the story. I just wanted to warn those who it might affect. ❤️
