~Three days later~

~~LeClere's point of view~~

I'm glad I talked to Chase. Communication between Marcus and me has been fabulous. For the last three days, Chase and I have been communicating fairly easily.

My phone rings.

~Phone conversation~

LeClere: "Hello?"

Dr. Wendel: "Hello, LeClere, this is Dr. Wendel. I have all four of your results."

LeClere: "That was quick."

Dr. Wendel: "Rhys paid the fee to have them done faster."

LeClere: "Did he now?"

Dr. Wendel: "He did. Do you want to contact the others and let me know a good time to call when you're all together?"

LeClere: "Yes. I'll call you as soon as I let them know."

Dr. Wendel: "Not a problem."

LeClere: "Thanks."

~End phone conversation~

I immediately go to Rhys office.

Rhys: "What's up?"

LeClere: "The results are in."

Rhys: "I'll let everyone know."

LeClere: "Ok."

I go back to my office. My nerves are on overload. I know that I can't go wrong with any of my men, but I'd prefer Rhys. It would just make things easier.

Thirty minutes later, I had confirmation everyone would be here at four. I call Dr. Wendel.

~Phone conversation~

Nurse: "DNA Diagnostics. How can I help?"

LeClere: "Hello, It's Clere Murphy. May I speak to Dr. Wendel."

Nurse: "He's been expecting your call. One moment."

Three minutes Pass.

Dr. Wendel: "Hello Clere."

LeClere: "Hey, we will all be together at four."

Dr. Wendel: "Great. Would it be ok if I come by wherever you are? I'd like to give you guys the paperwork."

LeClere: "That's fantastic."

Dr. Wendel: "Where am I coming to?"

LeClere: "Do you know where Maverick is?"

Dr. Wendel: "The business?"

LeClere: "Yes."

Dr. Wendel: "Who doesn't?"

LeClere: "That's where I work. Rhys owns the company. Our office is on the top floor. You'll see the conference room from the elevator."

Dr. Wendel: "See you then Clere."

LeClere: "Thank you."

~End phone conversation~

I have lunch with my sisters today. I haven't told them I'm pregnant. They just know I have children. I also haven't told them I'm engaged. I'd rather do that in person.

A knock comes on my door.

LeClere: "Come in."

Joshua: "Hey."
