~~Marco's point of view ~~

We are leaving today for the beach; it's been the longest four weeks of my life; I've barely seen Marielle; I get why. They were preparing to take time off. I've been there. I just can't wait to see her today.

I pack my bags. I head to each of my daughter's rooms to make sure they are ready. They meet me in the living room.

Bianca: "We're going to be there for my birthday."

Marco: "I know."

Bianca: "I'm excited."

Brystol: "Me too. It's been a really long time since we've done anything like this."

Marco: "I know. Hopefully, this is the first of many."

Brystol: "Me too."

My phone rings, letting me know the car is here. Rhys, LeClere, Beth, Brooklyn, Anissa, Joshua, Caroline, and the babies are all in one van. Me, the girls, Marcus and Marielle, are in another. A third is getting Isabella, Rusty, and Chase.

Marco: "Y'all, ready?"

Bianca: "Yes!"

Brystol: "Yes!"

We're taking the company plane. It's enough to fit all of us. I just want to put my eyes on my beautiful girlfriend. I'm glad we finally get to do this.

We load the car then head to Marcus's.

She takes my breath away.

They load the car and get in. Marielle slides in beside me, and Marcus gets in the front seat alone.

My hand goes to her leg; she looks at me and smiles; I move my hand.

Marco: "How are you, Marcus?"

Marcus: "Excited to spend three weeks with my son."

Marco: "I bet."

Marielle: "I'm ready for some sun and sand."

Brystol: "Me too."

My phone beeps.

~Text conversation~

Marielle: "And sex. Lots and lots of sex with my incredible boyfriend."

Marco: "He's a lucky guy."

Marielle: "Three weeks. I get three weeks with you."

Marco: "I can't wait, Babe."

Marielle: "Me either."

~End text conversation~

The ride to the airport was quiet after that. I had slid my hand back on her leg. She covered it with her hand.

She and I are going to have to talk.

I'm in love with her.

We have to tell everyone while we're here. I can't come back to what we had before this trip.

Marielle: "Are you ok?"

Marco: 'Yes, why?"

Marielle: "You were deep in thought about something."

Marco: "I was."

M narielle: "Care to share?"

I lean in her ear.
