Hey guys! So the thing is I'm writing this story just for fun, so don't get too excited when you start reading. But maybe you'll like it. I hope you do.
Piper POV
"Piper! Wake up!"
I moved the blanket over my head. Unfortunately Annabeth grabbed it and threw it to the floor. I groaned.
Annabeth's my best friend. She has curly blond hair almost always in a ponytail, stormy gray eyes, and she is one of the most intelligent people in the Academy.
"Leave me alone Annabeth! I'm tired! And give me my blanket." I knew complaining wasn't going to help though.
"If you don't wake up now you'll miss the football game!"
Twice a month our Academy held a football game at 2 am in secret. Football just wasn't allowed in our Academy. So someone had an Idea to do it at a two mile away abandoned gym. Or rather, Jason Grace came up with the idea. After students cleaned up the gym, they started to form a team and guess who everyone chose to be the captain? Yup. Jason stupid Grace. A handsome Junior with Blond hair, tan skin and electric blue eyes. The worst kind of guy for me. The best for those "popular" girls.
Our Academy decided to secretly send letters to other schools without the teachers knowing, and challenge them to games. It surprisingly worked considering the games would start at 2 am.
" I hate the football game!" I wined.
" Come on Piper, Percy's going to be playing and I don't want to miss seeing it. I'm going to drag you there in your pajamas if I have to," ugh! I hate Annabeth's threats. Knowing her, she really would drag me out of bed. She knows I hate it when people see my blue pjs. And the reason why is because I'm in a turquoise tank top and pj shorts with blue hearts. And Annabeth also knows that I get embarrassed easily when I wear cute girly things. The only reason I'm even wearing these pjs is because 1) I love blue. 2) Annabeth gave me these for my birthday. 3) I secretly love them. And 4) No one is going to see them outside of the girls' rooms.
Annabeth is my roommate. And Percy is Jason's roommate. It's funny because Percy is my friend and Jason and Percy are best friends. I usually try to avoid Jason because he seems so arrogant. He can also really get on my nerve. I have no idea how he does it, but he always seems to make me mad. Like that one time in History when he kept poking me with his pencil and asking me stupid questions about the weather.
Anyways, back to the football game. I finally got up my "lazy ass" as Annabeth puts it, changed to a pair of jeans, and a gray shirt (which fit my mood quite perfectly).
The long walk to the two-mile-away-gym felt so tiring. And it didn't help that I couldn't see anything. I yawned loud enough that a person in a twenty feet distance could easily hear it.
"Piper, I get that you hate football, but that loud yawn is not going to save your lazy ass."
"Hey," I protested, "I have a test tomorrow and my lazy ass needs to be ready for it."
Annabeth just rolled her eyes."Come on, lets race."
Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. But before I knew I was sprinting to get to the gym before Annabeth. I looked back at Annabeth, which was a big mistake, because I bumped into my worst enemy. Jason Grace. Before I could fall on my back, he grabbed my waist and pulled me against him. My face flushed and I quickly stepped back and glared at him. Good thing it was dark outside because at least he can't see my flushed face. But I suppose he must have seen because he smirked one of those I-know-your-attracted-to-me types of smirks.
Luckily I was saved because Annabeth quickly caught up. She seemed out of breath from the long run.
" So, Jace," I crossed my arms and gave him a mean glare," aren't you supposed to be getting ready for that football game that's going to start in five minutes?"
"Ya, well, I came to get your lazy ass out of bed." I opened my mouth to say something mean, but he just said," Just kidding." He turned to Annabeth. "Percy wanted me to make sure you were coming to the football game." He said it way too casually. Something told me there was another reason.
I wonder what the star player really wanted so badly that he'd run over here before a game. I must have been staring cause he just stared back at me for a moment and then burst out laughing. The idiot!
" Piper, you are the only thing that can make me laugh before a game," he said it between laughs and just ran off. I would have punched him right there if he hadn't run off!
Then I realized I was the only one in the dark. Annabeth probably left for Percy. I suddenly heard a wolf howl. It wasn't that uncommon but it didn't stop me from sprinting off to the gym. The game was going to start soon.
When I entered the gym the seats were already full, and the game had already started. It was hard to find Annabeth but when I finally did, I saw Reyna and Calypso with her, my two other best friends. Reyna had dark hair and dark eyes and surprisingly was dating my brother, Mitchell, Calypso had strawberry blond hair and light brown eyes. She's also Leo's girlfriend. Leo's a funny dark, curly haired person and is also my friend. Leo's playing in the football game right now. He and Calypso have now been dating for one year.
"Hey Reyna, Calypso, Annabeth, over here!" I tried to get their attention since no one could hear each other over the loud crowd. When I finally did, I could barely get through the crowd over to them. I finally reached them and from there on we were just focussed on the game. Our school almost lost, but Jason saved us all. The crowd sheered so loudly I almost went deaf.
After the game was over Annabeth dragged me with her along with Reyna and Calypso. When she reached Percy, she kissed him for two whole minutes. Leo reached Calypso first and hugged her. Reyna went to look for Mitchell.
Now I was all alone, but before I knew it Jason came over and kissed me full on the lips! When he pulled away his face was flushed and I can only imagine how red my face is. All the girls that were following him around gave me death glares. Some had shocked expressions on their faces as if they couldn't believe what they just saw. Then I realized all my friends, Annabeth, Percy, Calypso, Leo, Reyna, and even my brother Mitchell was staring at us.
The next thing I knew, I was running as fast as my feet could allow. When I reached the girls' dorm rooms, I quickly entered mine and shut the door, changed to my pjs, grabbed my blanket off the floor and fell on my bed. I stared at the ceiling. I was panting and my face was flushed. I was shaking and everytime I closed my eyes, I was him. I have a million questions swimming through my head. I tried to get to sleep but I couldn't.
About twenty minutes later Annabeth came in our room. I pretended to sleep, but I knew I couldn't fool her. When she changed, slipped into her bed, and when I was sure she was asleep, I went went up to the huge attic and slipped through the window, going up on the roof. I always went up the roof when something was bothering me or when I really needed to relax and look up at the stars. I had one important question out of a million:
Why did Jason kiss me?
I hated the fact that I felt so weak right now. I was going to have to face Jason tomorrow. Maybe I should pretend to be sick tomorrow. But I knew Annabeth would know I was just pretending. So there goes that idea. I saw a shooting star!
I wish to be able to be brave enough to go to classes tomorrow.
Hey guys, so that was the first chapter, please tell me if you like this or not because I don't know if I should keep writing this story.
Hope you enjoyed!!!
