I know this may seem strange, but I'm going from winter to spring now because its after Jason's wound gets better.

Piper and I walked the school hallways to our next class with hands entwined. I'm glad Drew has stopped bothering both of us, though she does give us occasional glares.

Piper and I reach our class, but before we enter the door, I pull Piper's hand towards anyplace but the classroom.

"Jason, we're going to be late."

"We can spare one minute."

Piper's about to protest, but I kiss her before she can say anything else, crushing her against me. Even though their are a lot of students going about, slamming lockers, running to class, and some staring at us, it feels like we're the only two people in the hall. The bell rang but we keep on kissing.

When we finally get to class, we're ten minutes late. Some of my friends from football grin at me, but we still walk hand in hand and go to our seats. Piper and I went to the back corner seats. I sat in the back seat and Piper sat in the front seat. I try to listen to the lesson but I get bored.

I poke Piper's back with my pencil. She turns around, and I give her a note. On the note I'd written, Why don't we go the tree house and skip all the other classes. I'm bored.

It didn't take long to get a reply back, she gave me the note with the writing, okay right after this class. This class is going to end in 5 minutes.

After the bell rang, Pipes and I walked to the forest.

"So, " Piper says," Why are we going to the tree today. Its usually until classes are over."

"Uh..."

"Stress?"

"No, not stress. I just want to have some time with you, all to myself."

We walked through the forest until we reached the tree. Once there, I realized how heights Piper is.

Piper looked nervous, "Maybe we should stick to the ground."

"No, Pipes. Your coming up to the tree house with me. You'll go first so if you fall, I'll catch you."

Piper looked hesitant but she finally says, "Fine." and climbs the swinging ladder. I climbed too, after her.

When we got to the top, Piper gave a surprised gasp, her hands covering her mouth. I smiled.

I'd woken up early and decorated the inside of the tree house with all kinds of flowers of all colors and sizes. It was the most colorful thing anyone can ever see since I didn't leave even a single spot on the walls, so it looked like a tree house walls are just made of flowers. I made the roses spell , I love you, in the middle wall. I'd woken up early and skipped the first classes to do this and I took all the flowers from the flower field that Piper had shown me last summer, and now they'd grown during spring with all the winter days gone.

On the floor of the tree house was a picnic I'd set up.

Piper looks frozen, her eyes glistening with tears. I panic, what if she doesn't like it. I was so sure she would.

"Piper, if you don't like it we could go for another walk," but just when I said this, she threw her arms around and gives me a tight hug.

"I love you, Jason."

" I love you too, Pipes."

We ate, talked, kissed, and afternoon came already. We finally laid down, Piper's head on my shoulder, both of us looking at the ceiling. It was a nice day.

I stroked Piper's soft hair, "I wish we could stay in this moment forever."

"Then lets stay in this moment. Forever."

The instant she said it, a rush of joy swarmed through me. I bent my head towards hers and my lips brushed against hers softly, lingering for a long time.

And we did stay in the moment. Whenever I kiss Piper, we've always been staying in the moment.
