Hey guys!!! Good news! I'm going to be writing more Jasper/Jiper stories! I've been planning this for quite a while now.

I can't believe it, Jason's injured again. And I couldn't do anything about it. I can't believe how scared I am. Terrified, more like. Since the teachers can't know about the night football games, a lot of students made the supply room in the old gym a place like a hospital room, filled with first aid kits and all kinds of things like that. Jason's in there right now. I try to assure myself that Will Solace, the future doctor, is going to take good care of him but I can't keep my heart from beating like crazy.

I feel claustrophobic right now even though I'm in my regular living room. I clutch one of the pillows. Annabeth enters the room, her face drooping.

She sits by me on the sofa, putting on a good smile, " Why don't we do something fun, Piper?"

Her failed attempt at cheering me up is more thoughtful than I'll ever deserve. Jason lying on the floor with blood on his head flashes through my mind as it has been doing since it happened. I make a choked sob and I cover my face with the pillow. Annabeth rubs my back soothingly.

I pull my head away from the pillow and brush my tear stained face, " Alright Annabeth, lets play chess. Show me how to play it and I challenge you to a game of chess."

Surprise flickered for a split second through Annabeth's face but she smiled. Annabeth got up and got the chess board and pieces and put them on the table. She showed me how to set them up and instructed me on some chess history and lessons. I smiled through it, although inside a storm of thoughts was raging. I tried to follow along with what Annabeth was saying but my mind kept wandering off to other things. Annabeth's probably really worried too but I know she's doing her best not to show it.

I used to hate even talking about chess but now that Annabeth's showed it to me, its not too bad. A good way to keep my mind off Jason. Earlier that day I'd gone to see him but Will said he couldn't get any visitors.

When the sun set and the stars appeared, Annabeth and I just lay on the coach. She was reading a book about Paris architecture and I had a sketchbook with me, drawing some terrible things like tigers and bears. It was so quiet. I could hear night crickets through the open window, the soft rustling of trees, and the tick tock of the clock. It all felt so monotonous.

We suddenly heard a knock at the door. Annabeth looked at me, her eyes seemed to say, who do you think it is? I shrugged my shoulders.

Annabeth got up and opened the door. Hazel, Calypso and Reyna were at the door. They looked happy.

Calypso beamed at me, " Will says Jason's awake! Well, he did get a minor head injury, but that's all taken care of." She said all this in a rush like she couldn't believe what she was saying.

I got up from my spot on the couch and rushed out of the door, running. Tears were coming out of my eyes. I didn't know if they were of happiness, being so worried, or both but I kept running until I reached the old gym and went into the now-hospitalized supply room.

When I got there, the room was like a perfect hospital room, except for all the computer machines. Will Solace was standing by Jason's bed, taking some notes on a small board.

On a bed with white sheets was Jason. His blonde hair still a mess, blue eyes still as blue as the sky. On his head was bandage, but other than that he looked fine. Still my Jason.

I walked over to his bed cautiously, as if walking towards a dear. My face still had fresh tears on it.

Something didn't seem right about this moment though. I pushed that thought aside and grabbed Jason's hand, smiling.

Jason looked at me in a funny way, "Who...are you?"

So that's it for now, Jason doesn't remember Piper. There's going to be more drama from here.
