Jason looked bewildered and I wondered who this girl was. She had striking blue eyes and dark, short hair.

"Thalia," Jason said,"What are you doing here?"

The girl, Thalia, came over and gave Jason a hug, careful with his injured arm. " Well, when I hear my baby brother getting hurt, of course I'll show up."

Baby brother? Oh, so Thalia is Jason's older sister.

"I'm not a baby. I'm already seventeen."

Thalia notices me, then. She eyes me suspiciously.

I got up from my chair, "Hi," I say hesitantly," I'm Piper."

Her face brightens and she beams at me, "Oh, so your Piper! Jason cannot stop talking about you on his phone calls, and your even prettier than he described." She gave me a tight hug.

"Thanks," I replied. Wow, so this is Jason's older sister. She has the same icy blue eyes as him but I'd never have guesses they were siblings.

Thalia sat on the corner of Jason's bed and said how worried she was about him and why he didn't tell her.

"Wait," Jason interrupted Thalia," How did you even know I was sick?"

"Oh, Percy and Annabeth gave me a call and you know how things can slip out of Percy's mouth, well I found out from there that something was wrong so I got it out of both of them." Thalia said it so casually, you'd have thought nothing could phase her. She doesn't seem the type of person to be afraid of anything.

Jason sighed," Yeah, its just like Percy to do that."

I laughed," Jason, I think you underestimate Percy all the time only to come out being tricked by him."

Jason smiled, " That's true, sometimes."

" Like the time he left you on the girls' dorm roof."

"And the time he got the kitchen dude's key before you even knew it."

Thalia had been looking at both of us and Jason and I had seemed to forget she was here, getting caught up.

Thalia cleared her throat, "Well, you too seem to have your hands full on conversation, so I'll just go and say hi to the others. Also, probably hands full of each other." And with that, she winked at both of us and left, closing the door behind her.

When I looked back at Jason, he was grinning," Well, now you've met my sister. All that's left is my Dad and then we can have the wedding." I knew Jason was joking but I could help feeling excited inside.

I gently slapped his arm, "Shut up."

Then I remembered something. The tigers!

"Jason, the tigers, what do we do about them?"

" I guess we could find another tiger. You know there are a lot of wild tigers here, so since they've lost their mother, another tiger can protect them. You know, tigers do except other baby tigers as their own after a week."

"Isn't it dangerous to get near one?"

"Yeah, but danger's my middle name."

I rolled my eyes. " Fine, lets do it. When you get better, which is three weeks. We have to take care of them since then. Have you given them any food or milk?"

"Uh...no."

" Jason, you have to. And what about Percy, he'll find them."

"Percy probably won't mind if two tiger cubs are living in our closet. I'll tell him."

"Alright, but I'm still worried."

Jason's eyes sparkled mischievously, " You know pipes, I can always kiss your worries away."

My stomach fluttered, " Shut up, Jason." I did want to kiss him again, though. Maybe I should stop worrying. I mean, I can come back to worrying after I kiss Jason. Without saying a word I sat down on his bed and pulled him into a kiss. He seemed surprise at first but then kissed me back, pulling me close to him.

The door suddenly opened. Jason and I both pulled apart quickly and at the doorway stood Thalia. My face burned red.

Thalia looked surprised and amused at once and I could tell she was suppressing a laugh. "Did I interrupt you two? I forgot my phone so I came back to get it." She went over the bedside table and picked up her phone, putting it in her pocket. " Have a good time, lovebirds." And with that she left.

I sighed, "I knew I should have stuck to worrying."

Jason smiled and pulled me in for another kiss. I forgot all my worries again. Stupid me. I fall into Jason's tricks too easily. Jason suddenly winced. I pulled away from him, knowing he's in no shape to do anything but stay in bed and eat.

"You need your rest, Jason. Go to sleep. Its almost nine 'o clock." I set Jason's pillows down so he could lie his head down.

I was about to leave when Jason grabbed my hand while still lying down.

"Do you need something, Jason?"

"Stay with me for a while?"

I hesitated. Percy's probably having a great time with Annabeth.

"Pretty please, with a cherry on top?"

"Alright," I sat down on the chair, and moved a strand of his blond hair back from his forehead.

We talked and talked until ten-thirty. When Jason fell asleep, I turned off the light and went back to my dorm room.
