Hey guys! Sorry I'm not updating quickly, but I have a lot of finals for high school. And I'm really nervous about the Spanish final!!!
"Come on, Piper! Get UP!" Annabeth shouted.
"Noooo!"I just wanted to stay in bed.
Annabeth started pulling at my blanket. I kept a tight grip on it."Are you okay? Because you don't seem okay!" Whoa, she's really mad.
"Okay, tell me why I have to watch the stupid football practice? I mean, its so dumb anyways." I couldn't meet her eyes.
When I looked at her again, Annabeth stared at me incredulously. " So that's what this is about?" She stopped pulling the blanket and sat on my bed." Piper, just because Jason's busy doesn't mean you have to hide in your room. He really wants to beat the New Yorkers. Anyone would, this is a big chance for him. I mean, they're from the big cities and are taking the chance to come to our little Long Island Sound. How exciting and new is that."
"Yeah, but whenever I say something, he never listens lately."
"Next week its going to be over."
"ugh! Fine, let's go!"
When Annabeth and I reached the old gym, I kept wondering where all the bottom floor of it ever was. It was just grass now that the boys destroyed the floor and planted grass.
A lot of the girls were in the seats closer to the team, while the guys were watching from the far bleachers. I didn't know so many would be here watching practice. But I guess it is a weekend.
We sat down on the bleachers, watching Jason and the others running around. Well, not really running around but not knowing anything about football, I wouldn't know either way.
"Annabeth?"
"Ya?"
"I'm bored."
"Sucks for you."
"Annabeth?"
"What?"
"You can be such a bitch sometimes. You always drag me everywhere with you when I don't even want to go." I said, not with anger, but with boredom.
"Sucks for you."
"Well then, I'm leaving." I said couscous, trying to make an escape."Byeeee." I said quietly and was just about to make a run for it when Annabeth grabbed on the back of my shirt.
"Oh, no you don't!"
I finally sat down, pouting." Why do you even need me to be here?"
"Piper," Annabeth said with exasperation," I just hate it when your just in your room doing nothing."
I was about to say something when someone said," Hey guys!"
I looked at who it was. It was Reyna, Hazel and Calypso.
"Hey." Annabeth and I said in harmony.
They sat on the bleachers beside us.
We heard a few shouts from the football team complaining, arguing and congratulating each other on football stuff.
Ugh! I just want to get out of here. Annabeth and the others talk about football while I'm stuck and confused about what they're even talking about. I can't take this anymore!
"Annabeth?" I said as sweetly as I ever could," I'll be right back, I forgot something. It'll only take a sec. Please."
Annabeth rolled her eyes."Fine."
I stood and ran down the bleachers and through the door. Finally! I didn't have anything to do, though.
Okay, what should I do now? Maybe I should take a walk through the forest. Yeah, I'll just do that.
And so I did.
While I was walking, I heard the familiar sound of birds, smelling the fresh green forest, feeling the nice wind.
For a sec, I almost thought I saw a human figure in the distance. Or maybe two? I looked away, but when I looked again, I didn't see anything.
That's weird. I thought I just saw someo-
Something strong hit my head and I collapsed into darkness.
Yeah, that's pretty much a cliffhanger again. Sorry guys.(NOT!)
