Jason and Piper: Half-Blood Academy

PIPER POV

I looked over at Jason. I was at my chemistry class and Jason was my lab partner but seemed too dazed to do anything. Maybe I was a bit harsh on him in math class. I guess telling him to go to hell is really harsh.

    "Jason...uh...um...I'm sorry."

    He looked over at me, startled. " Why are you sorry."

    "What I said to you in math class."

    Jason shook his head." You don't have to apologize. I'm not mad."

    " Then why are you so dazed like you've seen a ghost?"

    He shook his head again and frustration finally got the best of me." Your hiding something, Jason. What are you hiding from me and why?"

    Jason looked surprised. " Piper," he looked like he was searching for the right words but didn't know what to say," I'm not keeping anything from you."

    "Fine," I said stubbornly and went back to finishing the assignment. The teacher was looking at everyone's progress and I wouldn't be surprised if she fainted because of how terribly Jason and I did on the project.

    Several of the cheerleader girls were looking at us but I didn't care anymore who stared or not. I stared right back at them until they looked away.

    After class ended I quickly went to my next class.

    "Piper!" Jason ran up to catch me. When he did catch up with me I went into the girl's bathroom so he wouldn't follow me. I was mad. Jason is definitely hiding something important from me.

    When I entered the bathroom, two cheerleaders were talking about something. Or more likely gossiping. I ignored them and tried to untangle pieces of my hair. I did not want to wake up this morning.

    " Your Piper right? Piper McLean." A voice said behind me. I turned around to find one of the cheerleaders. She had black hair and a very pink outfit on.

    " And you are...?" I questioned.

    " Drew, darlin'." The way she said "darlin'" sounded really evil. " I guess the cat's out of the bag. You and Jason dating? Ha! What a load of crap. He's obviously dating you to get another girl. Or he just wants to make me jealous."

    "It wasn't even a secret to begin with. And I know Jason isn't like that." I said it casually to show I didn't care what she thought but her words stung nonetheless. I quickly got the tangles out of my hair and went towards the door but the other cheerleader and Drew blocked my path. I tried to step passed them but Drew just laughed.

    I started to get angry," Move" I snarled at her. She was really getting on my nerves.

    "If you stop dating Jason, then I'll get you into the secret cheerleader team at Jason's next football game." Drew said this with eagerness as if Piper could just snap her fingers and she wouldn't be dating Jason anymore.

    I crossed my arms over my chest. " I thought you said Jason was trying to get another girl. You obviously don't need my help if you think Jason's trying to make you jealous."

    Drew came closer to me to say something back but I had had enough. I pushed passed her and her friend and went to my next class.

    I sighed with frustration. Now I was late for my History class. This was the only class that Jason didn't have with me.
