Hey! There's going to be a season change in the story from summer to winter. I decided I had enough of summer in the story so I did the opposite season. In the story, about 4 or 5 months have passed by, so it didn't really just randomly change from summer to winter(in case you wanted to know).

    PIPER POV

I woke up in the middle of the night, freezing to death from the cold. None of the dorm buildings had any air conditioning, so we were stuck with just the fireplace.

I looked over at Annabeth's bed. She wasn't in it. I got up from bed.

"Annabeth?" I called. Nothing. Only dead silence.

The fire in the fireplace had gone out, making it even colder. I went over it, putting more wood in it, lighting a match and putting it in the wood. The fire blazed to life, bringing instant warmth.

I went to the living room and saw Annabeth, deep in thought with her blanket. She was sitting on the big couch by the fireplace. I looked over at the living room fireplace. It was also out. Each dorm room had two fireplaces because of the bitter, cold winters.

"Piper?" Annabeth looked up," could you put some wood in the fireplace?"

"Yeah." I went over to the fireplace and put in more wood and lit it with a match just as I'd done with the other one.

I went over by Annabeth and sat on the couch next to her, taking half of her blanket to me. Getting under the soft covers warmed me up.

I smiled. " Alright, now its your turn to get us hot chocolate and cookies."

"I can't get up I'm too lazy," Annabeth wined.

    "Please."

    "Fine."

Annabeth went and came back with two steaming hot chocolate mugs and chocolate chip cookies. She got back under the warm covers of the blanket, giving me my mug and setting the chocolate chip cookies on the table by the coach within the reach of both of us.

None of the lights were on, so only the fire light kept a warm glow to the room, casting flickering shadows over the room.

It all felt so calming and easy. I wonder if its always going to be like this. This nice. This happy.

Annabeth and I walked the hallways, going to class. All around us lockers were being slammed shut, everyone going on their ways.

When we reached math class, I saw Jason. I was about to go to him when I saw him talking to Drew.

I went to my desk before Jason noticed me staring. While I sat down, I saw in the corner of my eyes Jason going to his desk.

Of course, I didn't care if he was talking to Drew. I doesn't matter. I doesn't matter. It doesn't matter... I didn't even mean anything. Nope. Nothing.

I tried to convince myself that I didn't even care but I did. I cared.

I got through the whole day at school, fortunately.

I went for a walk instead of my dorm room. I was getting really cold outside. It snowed a bit while I was walking in the forest.

All of a sudden I heard voices. I looked at who it was.

    Jason and Drew. Kissing.

I hid behind a tree, but then decided to go to my room. I ran as fast as my feet could manage, my feet crunching in the snow.

I doubt Jason or Drew heard me at all. They were too far away to hear my feet crunching against the snow. But it didn't make it any better!

I finally let my tears out.

Yeah, so that's what's going on in the story. This is a kind of turn of events I guess. School's finally ending with one more week. I'm going to be a SOPHMORE!!!!!!!!
