Jason and Piper: Half-Blood Academy

Hey guys! I ended in a kind of cliffhanger last chapter. And I guess I get why so many authors or fanfic writers end in a cliffhanger sometimes. Because its FUN! But no really, I just get really happy when you guys anticipate the next chapter because it shows you like the story.

PIPER POV

    Jason appeared at the door and he looked really angry. That's to be expected though. It's all part of the plan. He sighed and pushed passed Percy. He looked shocked. Part of the plan too.

    In the living room balloons floated all over the ceiling of all color and sizes. All around the room were our friends: Leo, Calypso, Reyna, my brother Mitchel, Annabeth and Percy. Also our new friends, Frank Zhang, a tall muscular guy with black hair and his girlfriend Hazel Levesque, a girl with brown curly hair, almond eyes and dark skin. Frank is in the football team and also a very good friend of Jason's. Hazel used to be shy but she's a lot more open now that she's gotten to know us. On the table were presents and a cake that read, " Happy Birthday Jason."

    Jason stood still as a statue and I wondered why he looked that shocked. Surely he couldn't have forgotten his own Birthday. Could he? I went over to him and took his hand. His eyes met mine.

    I smiled" Happy Birthday Jason," I whispered. All our friends shouted," HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" which is risky considering this is the girl's dorm building the guys are in. This is the only place we could get for the birthday party since the boy's dorm building is filled with guys going about everywhere whereas the girls just chatted in their rooms.

    I pulled Jason over to the table, which seemed to wake him up.

    " What day is it?" Jason asked.

    Leo shouted," June 18th!"

    Jason slid his fingers threw mine and tightened his grip on my hands. Jason shook his head in amazement. " Thanks guys, I mean, you didn't have to do this."

    " It was all Piper's idea," Reyna said.

    And before I could say anything, Jason said, " Where's all the big tiger show guys?" Ever since Jason got to see a loose tiger in the forest, he's been obsessed with tigers. But we all knew he was joking. Because that's what he does when he can't find all the words that he's feeling.

    We all ate the cake and ice cream after Jason blew the candles. It was fun but I just wanted to have time by myself with Jason. I mean, just when we actually date, there doesn't seem to be that much time to be together. We were still having the party when suddenly we heard a knock on the door.

    " Oh no. I forgot that these girls that need helping with math will be coming over. Sorry guys,  but you boys will have to leave," Annabeth said.

    They all made a couple of complaints but left through the window. Before Jason left he winked at me and mouthed," I love you." I smiled at him but that doesn't mean I wasn't disappointed.

     When they all left, Annabeth opened the door after the 15th knock. A lot of girls and even boys sometimes came to Annabeth for help. The girls came and Annabeth helped them. Reyna, Calypso and Hazel stayed over to chat but I didn't feel that good, so I so I went to bed.

     I was fine physically but something seemed to be bothering me. I kept tossing around in my bed.

    At around 12 'o clock, Annabeth got to her bed. Once I heard the steady sound of her breathing at, I got out of bed, went to the attic, and up went through the roof window. I was about to sit down when I saw Jason.

    Jason had sat down and was looking at me. There was amusement in his expression. " Nice pjs Pipes." I was about to say something back to him but then he said," I thought you'd never get here."

    " How did-"

I didn't finish what I was going to say because Jason got up, cupped my face with both of his hands and kissed me. He grabbed my waist bringing me closer to him while his other hand went to the back of my head and grabbed a handful of hair.

    We pulled back, out of breath. Jason grinned. I grinned. I laughed. Jason laughed. We both sat down on the roof and he put his arm around my shoulder. I wish this could last forever.

    " Okay, so how did you know I was going to be here?" I asked.

    " What, I can't just relax here?"

    I laughed," You know that's not what I mean. And besides, if that was the case, you could have went up to your own roof."

    "Hey, I don't have a roof."

    " Seriously, Jason." I decided to play along. " The boys' dorm building roof."

    Jason gaped his mouth in mock horror. " Really? Has it always been there?"

    " Yes, idiot."

    The wind blew some hair into my eyes. Jason pulled it back behind my ears. He looked serous all of a sudden.

     Then he grinned again." By the way Pipes...nice pajamas. It looks cute on you. You know, you should come in clothes like this to classes. Then I wouldn't be that bored in class anymore."

    " No way!"I almost slapped him, which would be a highly unromantic thing, but he caught my hand.

    " Your right," he whispered, his lips touching my ear, " I wouldn't want all the other guys staring at you."

    And he kissed me again, crushing me to him. This time it was a hungry kiss as if we never wanted to let go of each other. And I don't know why I never attempted to slap him again, but I guess it was because Jason distracted me pretty well. Not that I'd ever admit that to him.

    Jason and I chatted and stayed on that roof until the sun was about to come up. After that Jason went to his dorm building and I went to my room. When I looked at the time on the clock, It was 5 a.m. I guess I'll have to sleep through all those boring lectures in class. But for now, I went to my bed and slept a good 1 hour.

I thought about ending in another cliffhanger but I guess...I don't know why I didn't do it. I just felt like I shouldn't. I have other plans.* evil laugh*
