Chapter 5 Shopping

The rest of the week passed by in a blink. Somehow during the time though Laito had managed to get my number and had texted me the meet-up time for the mall.

After searching my closet for the last hour I decided to wear a t-shit layered with flannel and black jeans. Lastly, I grabbed Laitos fedora and through that on. I looked at the time only to realize if I didn't hurry I would be late to catch the bus.

I panicked and ran around my room frantically trying to grab my stuff.

I listed the items I needed to myself as I searched for them. "Phone? Check. Buss pass? check. Keys? Check. Pepper spray to ward of perverted vamps? Check. Money? None existent."

I was pretty sure I had everything lest my sanity and was about to run out the door to sprint to the bus stop when I heard knocking. Wondering who it could be I opened my front door. I was greeted by two vampires standing on my porch. One wearing a mischievous grin and the other looking like he was ten different versions of done with life in one.

"Hello, Bitch~chan were here to pick you up," Laito said while tugging me out of the house.

After quickly locking up I turned around to face the two vampires.

"Hm are you now? I don't see a car." I replied.

Laito smirked which never meant anything good but the one to explain was Subaru. "Tch, why would we drive when teleporting is way faster."

My eyes wandered between the two standing before me. "Nope nope I'm good I can catch a ride from the bus and meet y'all there."

I attempted to get away from the two but my efforts were futile.

"Aw no need to be shy little Bitch." Laito said before grabbing my shoulders.

Next thing I know I felt as if I was be hurtled off a mountain. For a second I could feel death take a hold of my soul. I shut my eyes tight and waited to be taken to the afterlife but that didn't happen.

I heard a voice yell at me. "Oi human open your eyes you're not dead."

Slowly I opened my eyes to find I was hugging onto Laito with a death grip. I quickly pushed him away and distanced myself six feet. After looking around I realized we were at the mall's entrance.

"So uh where to first?" I asked.

"Tch don't care," Subaru replied.

Meanwhile, Laito was silent and looking me up and down.

"I know just where to start." He said breaking his silence and then grabbing my bad wrist and dragging me with him.

It hurt but I remained silent. Can't let him in on any weakness who knows how he'd take advantage of it.

We arrived at a store and upon seeing the name my mouth dropped. There was no way I had any money for this. I didn't even have any money on me in the first place!

Laito dragged me in and Subaru bitterly followed keeping his distance. The pervert immediately started throwing clothes at me and creating a small mountain in my arms.

"Uh, Laito, my man, my perverted vampire. I hate to break it to you but this chika es muy pobre." I said while trying to mix in a bit of Spanish.

The redhead turned around. "Sweetie it's evident that you are from your clothes."

My mouth fell and I felt my anger starting to rise but I wasn't able to say anything because the next thing I knew I was being shoved into a dressing room with a mountain of clothes.

I stare at the pile when I hear. "If you need any help getting them on I won't mind coming in there and helping you."

I blushed and yelled back. "I'm flipping you off behind this door!"

After trying on multiple articles of clothing and having them all be judged by Laito I was wiped. I was almost done and just had one more dress to try on. It was black and had a short skirt and short sleeves. The skirt was a bit too short for my liking but more importantly, there was a huge cut out around my chest showing it off.

There was a knock and then a voice. "Bitch~chan what's taking so long do you need any help?"

I rolled my eyes. "Fuck you Laito and there's no way I'm coming out in this."

I heard a laugh and he then said. "Aw if you don't I'll have to teleport in there."

I forgot my embarrassment and slammed the door open to prevent me from being alone with him.

Laito looked satisfied with my reaction and had a grin.

"Happy?" I asked with a hint of anger.

"Very and it would also my dear younger brother likes it to." He said while gesturing to Subaru.

I looked over to the albino who's eyes were focused directly on my chest. "Subaru hun, eyes. Up. here" I said with a sweet yet murderers smile.

Subaru snapped out of it and a very red blush spread across his face. "Tch this is taking too long I'm going outside!" He yelled before storming off.

I rolled my eyes at Subarus's childish behavior and went back to the dressing room. After changing Laito grabbed the clothes that we had both agreed on and walked to the register.

"Um Sir Pervert, I recall telling you I don't have money," I whispered to him.

He frowned at the nickname and replied to my comment. "That's why I'm paying for it."

I stared at him in shock for a moment which soon turned into suspicion. "What ulterior motive do you have?" I straight out asked.

He raised an eyebrow as if it was obvious. "So that I don't have to look at your mess every day."

I grumbled but let him pay for the clothes. Afterward, we quickly found Subaru who grabbed the bags I was holding from my hands.

Suddenly my stomach grumbled and decided our next stop would be the food court. All I could think of was getting some yummy food. That thought though was suddenly gone when we arrived. There was a big crowd forming around the middle of the large food court.

I ran over to see what was going on. I had to shove my way through the crowd but when I got to the center my mouth fell. There in the center was Ayato being grabbed by two security guards and Kanato being held down on the floor by four security guards. They were struggling to keep him down but an opportunity was presented to them when the two vampires noticed my presence.

"You!" they both shouted while looking at me. 

Observation: Vampires have no shame and will create a scene anywhere.
