"Moira and Fenix are in Ceryscathia?"

Claudia's disappearance had been the reason for her cluelessness, she didn't know what happened in the world while she was living in her cave.

"They left Dominicia for good, came with us to look for you and also to live the rest of their days in peace."

Marcus explained, he was riding on the saddle of Phobos, his stark black stallion as he wrapped an arm around Claudia's waist to support her.

Bella wasn't far behind, she was saddled up with Marcus holding her reins gently urging the white horse forward.

Since her entire lower body was just in pure agony, Claudia had opted to ride with Marcus leaning against his chest, she felt butterflies in her stomach from their close proximity.

Claudia could feel his breath on her neck, she was biting down hard on her lip from stopping the stupid smile that girls get when they see their lover or crush.

Marcus, ever too attentive had already noticed this and didn't say anything but had an impy grin on his face the entire time while answering her questions.

"So why did you come alone? Did they not want to come?"

Claudia didn't know how to face Moira or worse Fenix when she would meet them. Would Fenix forgive her for stabbing him and running away?

Or worse, after he had kissed her?

Claudia pushed his feelings for her at the very back of her head, locking it up, he loved her in a way that she didn't.

"No! I didn't tell them. I told Edith, the spy who came to me to keep it a secret. I told everyone that I was going to Lokriveii with Fenix."

"Fenix is in Lokriveii?!" That place was a war zone and he had gone straight to the lion's den to look for her.

"He went to search for you."

She could only hope that he was safe, Arlus was there, he would make sure Fenix is alright. After all, she was his sister. He would do that, wouldn't he?

"What about Moira?"

"She is...." Marcus had no words to describe the old woman's character.

"....she was worried...but...she didn't wail or cry....she somehow knew that it was your choice and that you were so sure of it...she was sure that you were...alive and somewhere out there...she assured us."

"She knows me more than I know myself, and love her for that. She was the only one there for me- well other than Fenix -she gave me my space and didn't give up on me when I could never wield a bow the right way."

"To me, you seem to have an excellent aim." He laughed.

"I suppose you are the reason for that." She smiled, closing her eyes leaning onto his chest for warmth.

They had reached the city gates before it closed, or else they would've had to answer a million questions and may even get arrested.

Marcus was surprised to see Nessa waiting infront of the inn where he was staying.

"Who is that?" Claudia asked, rubbing her eyes feeling sleepy.

"That is Nessa."

"I don't know if....I should....hug her or kill her." She muttered.

"Go to sleep, Claudia. I'll wake you up when it's time to leave." He advised after seeing her yawn.

Claudia barely even heard his voice, as the travel and pain gave her mind the urge to just shut down and she succumbed to said urge, sleep finding her she vaguely felt being pulled down the stallion and into Marcus' arms.
