The Day (Part 2) (End)

I closed the door and sat down right next to Himari, my future wife.
"Ready?" She asked with a cute and caring smile on her lips.
Without much thinking I answered her with "Of course I am."

We both fell silent and looked at the door on the other side of the room that had just opened.
An elderly man entered the room and greeted us with a friendly smile as the door closed itself behind his back.
I somehow recognized the man...
SCP-343???
Why is he here?
"Why am I here?, well someone told me that you still have no priest for your wedding so how about me? I can vow you." He answered my unspoken thought leaving me surprised.

"Yea, we asked him if he would like to be part of the wedding of the greatest O5 the Foundation has ever seen, and since he agreed we wanted to have a second little surprise on our side. Sorry that we haven't informed you but we just wanted to see how you react." O5-5 mixed in.

"Well it would be very rude to decline the offer of god himself so, of course!" I replied to 343 and looked to Himari which looked as surprised as me.
"... I think we will have the strongest bond ever, what do you think, darling?" Himari asked me while she hugged my left arm.
I could only nod in agreement.

"Alright, shall we start then?" 343 asked in a calm and relaxing tone.
We both nodded.

343 started the ceremony.
Two small bowls filled with the best Korean wine appeared on the table in front of us as he took a seat on the other side of the table and began reading from a small book.
"Y/n. You are becoming the husband of Himari. Do you promise to love Himari and respect her, take care of her, help her, in joyful times and in hard times, in health and in sickness, every day, for ever?"

"Yes, I promise." I answered while looking over to him.

He nodded and looked back into the book to continue the ceremony.

"Miss. Himari. You are becoming the wife of Y/N. Do you promise to love and respect him, take care of him, help him, in joyful times and in hard times, health times and in sickness, every day, for ever?"

She answered with "Yes, I promise." as well.

We both looked up at him, he closed the book and looked back at us.
"In that case you both shall take a sip of the wine to show your eternal love for each other."

I took my bowl and waited for Himari to do the same.
We looked at each other and finished the wine while keeping eye contact.
As both bowls were empty we placed them on the table and looked back at 343.

"Himari and Y/N, you are Husband and Wife now. May I bless your vow and your eternal love to make it last forever." He finished as he placed his hands on our heads.

"I guess this is my part then." He said as he took his hands away.
"I congratulate you two, you are truly meant for each other."

After 343 has spoken his last word the O5's around us applauded and cheered loudly.

I looked over to Himari one more time and smiled.
"You know what? I think there is something missing."
I said while looking around.

343 smiled and said.
"You may kiss your partner now!"

Himari smiled as well and bend forward, closing her eyes waiting for me to fulfil my part.
I placed my right hand softly on her cheek and kissed her.
The warmth of our love spread over our bodies and our lips parted.
We opened our eyes again and were greeted by the applause of the O5's once again, this time 343 clapped his hands as well.



Time skip: 2 weeks later

I took the last two weeks off and went back to the Foundation today on my last day off.
As I entered the complex I greeted the passing by colleagues and scientists that all seemed to know me.
The productivity and efficiency of the Foundation increased multiple times since my reforms and I even managed to make the Foundation an independent Organization so the government couldn't mess everything up.
However, I remembered a promise that I gave a long time ago.


SCP-166 were still imprisoned here, and I don't want that any more.
I had a conversation with 343 last week, and he agreed to my request to remove her succubus traits, she could even wear normal clothes after that.
Arriving at her cell I greeted the numerous female Scientists around as I went down.
My frequent visits became routine for them already, so they just greeted me friendly.
The metal cell unlocked and opened with a loud hiss as I entered the boring white room.
She sat on a chair reading in her bible, as always.

"Long time no see, how are you doing?" I asked her in a friendly tone.
Suddenly she turned to me a bit surprised to see me.
"It's been a while I agree, so what leads you to me?"

I gave her the clothes that I took with me.
"It's a surprise, would you like to follow me?" I asked her as she took a few steps towards me.
She nodded silently a bit surprised by my offer.

5 minutes later

"So here we go" I said as I opened 343's cell and signalled her to enter.
Inside he waited for us already and greeted us with a friendly "Welcome"

Her eyes widened, but I placed my hand on her shoulder to calm her down.
"This is SCP-343, we believe he is god."

She looked at me with pure surprise and looked back at 343.
"I can't believe it! As if humans could contain him.... But I've seen almost everything here....... Are you really our creator?" She asked him slightly unsettled.

"At least that is what you humans call me... From your perspective I am god yes." He answered.

"I can't believe it, if you are really god then show me!" She returned to him.

"I will bless you and remove all your Succubus traits to allow you to lead a normal life, how does that sound for you?" He asked her in the same calm voice.
Seems like nothing can bring him out of his peace.

"If you can do that, I would be very thankful." She answered again a bit unsettled.
He appeared in front of her and looked her straight in her pure soul.

"You deserve my blessing you pure girl." He said while placing his hand on her head.
"There we go, you are a normal human now." 343 finished and took a few steps back.

"And that isn't even the end, I think you spend enough time here so would you like to live with my wife and me outside the facility? We would be ready to adopt you if you like."

I saw her eyes widen again, and she looked at me.
"You are joking" She said to me absolutely blown away.

"Do I look like someone who is joking?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"If you are really ready for this........ It would be the greatest favour you could do for me." 166 answered me slowly getting herself under control again.

"Then take your clothes on and let's go, we shouldn't waste any time, I even have prepared everything for your release already, so we only need to go." I replied to her.

"I think I can wear clothes too, right?" She asked me what I confirmed with a nod.

A few minutes later

"I'm ready to go then" She told me after she thanked 343 for his help.
Then she took my hand.
We went out of his cell towards the exit of the facility.
Outside she looked back at the entrance.
"Ready?" I asked her.
"Ready." She replied.
