Next day.

Environment: 'Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring'
I mumbled to myself as I tried to reach the loud alarm clock with my hand.
Environment: 'Ring ring, ring ring, ring ring'
Annoyed I lifted my head from the cozy pillow and roughly hit the alarm clock.
It fell over and punished me with an even louder ringing.
Environment: 'RINGRINGRINGRINGRING!'
As I almost freaking out, I sat up, took my alarm clock and turned it off.
Y / N: "Finally rest again.
I briefly thought about going back to bed and just going back to sleep, but quickly rejected it.
Y / N: 'No, as the saying goes, postponed is not finished.'
I was aware that the O5's gave me a new chance at the Foundation so I won't disappoint their expectations.
Yawning, I got up and got ready to start the day.

15 minutes later.

I stood in front of the mirror in my bathroom and brushed my hair to make a well-groomed impression.
Then I put on my work clothes and entered my office.
While rubbing my eyes, I sat on my black upholstered leather chair and turned on my computer.
The scientist noticed that I was there and immediately started knocking on my door.
Y / N: 'Come in.'
He entered my office and greeted me.
Scientist: 'Good morning, I have a planned experiment here that will be made with SCP-953.'
He leaned over my large desk and handed me a sheet of paper.
I accepted the sheet and started reading.
Y / N: 'So you want to send a Class-D to her cell to see how she reacts.'
He nodded.
Scientist: 'Indeed.'
Y / N: 'And what should that bring us? She'll probably murder him and cause a bloodbath. '
He took a breath to speak but I didn't give him the favor.
Y / N: 'You just want to see someone die, right?'
He looked at me in surprise.
Scientist: 'But you wanted a little variety'
Y / N: 'No, I wanted to do an experiment that should help us understand her behavior better.'
He was silent.
Y / N: 'I will not accept that.'
I gave him his papers back and he left my office.
Y / N: 'I probably just saved a Class-D.'
A few hours later.
I was just enjoying my fifth cup of hot coffee while looking at some new regulations for Foundation employees.
After I finished the administrative work I got up and went to the main laboratory room.
The scientists greeted me.
Y / N: 'Is anything special going on here?'
They turned to me.
Scientist: 'No nothing happened today.'
I nodded.
Y / N: 'All right, I will take a little walk now see you later.'
Instead of answering me, they nodded and went back to their work.
I opened the door behind me and left the lab.
I walked down the endless corridors in and let my mind wander.
I remember that I promised SCP-166 to visit her again.
Y / N: 'I should be close to her cell here.'
I continued down the corridor and soon noticed the entrance to her research area.
With a push of the button to the right of the door, it opened.
There were around two dozen Foundation employees in the laboratory.
They looked at me when I entered the laboratory.
Employee: 'Hello, you are not allowed to enter the area here.'
I showed my ID card.
Employee: 'Class B?'
Y / N: 'I wish to visit SCP-166.'
Employee: 'But men react ...'
Y / N: 'I didn't ask you for your opinion, I want to go to her cell now!'
She gave up the resistance and nodded.
Employee: 'All right.'
I smiled and went down the stairs to the front gate of her cell.
When I stood in front of the gate, it opened and I entered her cell.
At first glance, nothing has changed since my last visit.
I looked around and saw SCP-166 sitting on the floor behind her table reading the Bible.
Y / N: (* coughing)
She looked up and looked into my eyes.
I put on a friendly smile.
Her expression immediately changed to a bright smile.
166: 'Y / N, are you coming to visit me?'
Y / N: 'I promised you so of course I will come back to you.'
I came up to her and sat at the table with her.
Y / N: 'So what do we want to do today?'
She looked at me and started thinking.
166: 'Can you read me the Bible again?'
Y / N: 'Sure.'
Y / N: 'What should I read to you?'
166: 'Pick something.'
She pushed her Bible across the table, I took it and started scrolling through it.
I scrolled through the Bible for a minute to find a good line.
Y / N: 'I believe that.'
I felt the earth start to vibrate beneath me.
Y / N: 'What is that?'
SCP-166 looked at me a little fearfully.
166: 'What's going on?'
A loud bang could be heard from a distance.
The lights went out a few seconds later.
I heard SCP-166's anxious whimper.
Y / N: 'Everything is fine, there is definitely no danger.'
166: 'Please give me your hand.'
Y / N: 'No problem. Where are you?'
166: 'Here.'
I followed her voice and reached into the dark.
I felt her soft warm skin.
Y / N: 'There you are.'
I felt her hands softly grabbing my hand.
Y / N: 'Everything is fine.'
The red lights went on and I was startled.
Y / N: 'A containment breach?'
166: 'What?'
Y / N: 'Some SCP's have escaped or we are under attack.'
Y / N: 'But don't worry with me you are safe.'
166: 'I know that, I'm not afraid when you're with me.'
The gate opened.
Nobody was behind it.
I heard gunfire from a distance.
166: 'What was that?'
Y / N: 'Gunfire. But our rifles sound different than that. '
I've heard about Foundation enemies that could attack us.
Y / N: 'Come with me, I have to save another SCP, I definitely don't want her to be in danger.'
She followed me out of the laboratory.
The employees apparently fled.
Shots fired again, but this time much closer than before, followed by an impact.
I signaled her to be silent as I hid against the wall, preparing to fight.
