5 months later.
'After work!' I said to myself with relief and switched off the computer with a sigh.
Working as the new O5-1 really wasn't easy, especially when you have to manage the Chaos Insurgency and the Foundation at the same time.
Fortunately, I was able to fix most of the damage O5-1 had done and let the Foundation work a lot more efficiently.
One of the many changes that went along with my entry as O5-1 was, for example, a more efficient administration and work routine of the staff which gave me and the other O5s more time to deal with the really important things.
Pretty much the first thing I did after the former O5-1 recovered was to make him pay for his shameful actions.
I leaned back and put on a smile as I thought of his fate.
'If I hadn't known his background I might even have been sorry for him.'
Shortly after he had recovered, I had a femur breaker provided.
I then smashed both his femurs with this machines.
Anyone familiar with the anatomy knows that this is hellish pain.
Pain so bad that you need medication to keep from fainting.
But that wasn't all, after that we transported him to the Indian Ocean where we fed him to SCP-3000.
I laughed as I remembered his whining and begging for the mercy when he found out about his fate.
Now he will probably still be somewhere in this monster under cruel agony.
It's said that people who are eaten by SCP-3000 are digested alive forever , don't ask me how that should work because I don't know but I think it works.
In addition to all the other changes, SCP-953 has recently started to behave particularly in my presence.
In some situations she blushed a little when she spoke to me or about me and wished that I visit her every morning and evening.
To be honest, I also noticed other feelings for her.
I didn't really know how to describe them, usually I didn't feel anything with people I met.
I only remembered the exception with my men, after all I hated it when people with family who are under my responsibility die.
But with Himari it is something completely different.
I knocked the thoughts out of my head and rose from my black chair.
Now after work, I usually visit Himari so we can talk about anything.
I looked at my table on which was a vase with beautiful red roses stood.
Maybe they would look good in her cell.
Actually, I hated that she was locked up in a cell all day, but I still haven't been able to convince the other O5's that she should be able to walk around in the foundation.
Of course I could just decide it alone but I didn't want to risk the good relationship with the other O5's so I have to take it easy.
Anyway, I'm going to visit her now like I always after work.
I took the roses with me and made my way to her cell.
Now that I was O5-1, I could no longer be separated from her.
I unlocked the big gate to Hallway-99 and went down the stairs to enter the long corridor.
At first this long corridor annoyed me as a security measure, but I quickly got used to it.
After all, it was a measure to ensure that Himari couldn't manipulate employees with her telepathic abilities.
I stopped in front of her locked cell door and pulled out my card.
The door opened after I held the card up to the scanner to the right of the door.
The alarm stopped and I entered her cell.
It was empty.
Where did Himari go?
I remembered that she once surprised me from behind when I visited her.
Before I could turn around, her arms laid on my shoulders and she hugged me from behind.
She snuggled her head into my back so I could feel her soft fluffy ears on the back of my neck.
'Do you have to scare me so Himari ?!' I said in an amused voice when I took a step back.
Her hug tightened and I felt her chest pressing against my back.
Gosh I love that feeling.
Himari giggled.
'These are really beautiful flowers. Are they for me? "She whispered softly in my left ear as she leaned over my shoulder to admire the roses.
I nodded.
'Yes, they are for you. I thought they would look good here. '
She let go of me and went to her little table that stood in the middle of the room.
'Put the vase here!'I did as she told me and she stood next to me to check the contrast with the rest of her room.
'Your gift actually fits very well in my cell. Thanks! " She told me with a big smile that showed her fangs.
She stood in front of me and looked into my eyes.
Her glowing yellow eyes were so beautiful that I couldn't take my eyes off her.
'Y / N?' I realized that she wanted to ask me something.'
Yeah what's up Himari?'
She cocked her head slightly and smiled at me with her eyes closed.
'There is something I have to tell you.' She said in a serious voice.
'What's the matter? You know that you can tell me everything that's on your mind!" I said with a concerned voice as I looked deep into her beautiful eyes.
She smiled again.
'Of course I know that. But it's something else and I don't know how to tell you ...' She looked down and couldn't muster enough courage to look into my eyes.
"Well. There is also something I want to tell you.' She looked up at me.
I was almost certain that this strange but beautiful feeling that I felt in her presence must be love.
Himari interrupted me.
'I love you!' She said with her eyes closed.
I paused.
That was exactly what I wanted to tell her.
She took a step back.
'Sorry I shouldn't have said that ...'
I came up to her.'
I mean you can't feel the same for me ...........'
I interrupted her by pushing her against the wall behind her and kissing her.
She looked me in my eyes very surprised completely overwhelmed by what was happening.
After a few seconds our lips parted and she slowly realized what had just happened.
'I love you too, Himari.' Himari's tails swayed behind her and she blushed.
'Really?' She asked me with pure surprise on her face.
It was really cute how her personality had suddenly changed so much.
'Yes with all my heart.' I repeated.
I tried to give her some stability by putting my hand on her cheek.
We stood there for a while and looked at each other.
'So are we a couple now?' Himari still asked me a little unsure.
I nodded.
'If you agree I will be happy to be your partner.'
She nodded.
'It's late and I'm tired, do you want to stay?' She asked me in her usual playful voice.
'Your decision.' I answered.
She smiled and pulled me closer to her by my arm.'
Then you stay with me!' She answered in a cute voice.
I nodded.
'As you wish.' I answered.
