Chaos Insurgency

O5 Councils POV

O5-1 looked at his watch and nodded.
O5-1: "Epsilon-11 should be gone now... "Start the second part of the operation."
The other O5's looked at the screen that was set up on the table and pointed circularly into the round.
MTF Captain: "Yes, sir."
The connection broke and the room was enveloped in darkness again .
O5-1: "Before we continue with the next topic, did you also notice that O5-5 is often absent?"
The other O5's nodded.
O5-1: "Well I took the liberty of hiding a tracking device in his jacket to check where he is whenever he is absent. At the moment the signal is broken, so his location is probably underground right now, but before the signal cut off, his last position was near the Chaos Insurgency Headquarters."
All O5's looked on O5-1 in disbelief.
O5-2: "So you mean that O5-5 is working with the Chaos Insurgency?"
He nodded.
O5-1: "Most likely, O5-5 is a traitor."
O5-3: "But I can hardly believe that traitors or spies in the Foundation would make it to the O5 Council."
O5-1: "This is of no value but we should eliminate him as soon as possible."
Silence returned to the room.
O5-4: "I think it is a better idea if we use him to give false information to the Chaos Insurgency. If he realizes that we have exposed him, we can still eliminate him."
Some of the O5's nodded and attention turned back to O5-1.
O5-1: "I have to agree that this is a more appropriate course of action. We'll have another separate session about him later, but let's move on to the next topic now."
He left a short break to allow everyone present to mentally prepare for the next topic.

Y/N's POV

I left O5-5 in the large conference room to make my way to my new comrades.
Unlike the last time, I now had the advantage and many new skills to protect the Chaos Insurgency from the Foundation.
The loss of my old unit still affected me but I couldn't let it drag me down.
I already had a plan how I would force them to surrender.
This time the O5's are my opponents but I will defeat them.

A few minutes later.

I quickly found my way around and soon found the meeting room where I met all the remaining forces of the Chaos Insurgency.
At first they looked at me in panic as I entered the room.
They probably knew that I had inflicted such devastating losses on them an hour ago.
That's a really good start, soldiers who are afraid of their leader but they will soon trust me when they see my leadership.
I tried my best to act friendly when I entered the room.
Y/N: "I am Y/N L/N and I am supposed to fight with you against the Foundation."
They looked at me surprised, obviously they didn't know how they should react to such a situation.
Fortunately they soon relaxed again.
To be honest I can understand them well, I would also not know how I would react if someone came to me in a room wearing the enemy's clothes and being soaked from head to foot in blood.
One of the soldiers stood up and came towards me.
CI soldier: "Welcome Y/N. We have already heard that you should come to. Good cooperation."
We shook our hands.
Y/N: "Do you have a commander?"
He shook his head.
CI Soldier: "Your attack shattered our entire command structure."
I looked down a little strained.
Y/N: "I'm sorry... I didn't know that the Foundation was just using me..."
CI Soldier: "Yes. What do we do now? The Foundation will attack very soon."
I nodded.
Y/N: "Do you have a map of the complex?"
The soldier walked towards a table and pointed on a map of the complex.
CI Soldier: "Is that enough?"
I nodded.
Y/N: "Yes."
I looked at the map.
We should surround them.
Y/N: "They'll probably come in here."
I pointed to the entrance through which I had entered the complex earlier.
Y/N: "We should focus our troop strength here and here."
This time I pointed to the right and left side of the center.
Y/N: "We will leave the center free, so that they can pass unhindered."
CI Soldier: "What's the point of that?"
Y/N: "I will try to make them surrender. Meanwhile you surround them. Should they refuse to surrender, we can attack them from all sides and wipe them out."
He nodded.
Y/N: "The troops that are present will be divided into three groups, two of the groups will be positioned left and right and one group will be behind me to close the siege ring at the end.
CI Soldier: "That sounds like a solid plan. But what would we do with enemies that have surrendered?"
I nodded the question was reasonable.
Y/N: "We can use them to increase our troop strength and then launch an attack on the Foundation and capture the O5's. So are there questions about the battle plan?"
They all shook their heads.
Y/N: "All right, all three groups, please choose a commander for your unit. The commanders will stay in radio contact with me and take my orders in case we have to improvise in special scenarios."
As before, I divided the map into grids and assigned the groups to their positions.
Y/N: "When we are ready then, I would say arm yourselves and follow me!"
In contrast to before, the soldiers showed a little enthusiasm and morale.
Maybe I revived their fighting spirit.

A few minutes later.

We had been at our posts for a little while waiting for their arrival, then I heard the sound of gunfire in the distance.
Y/N: "They're coming."
Shortly afterwards my new comrades reported via radio and informed me of enemy contact.
Y/N: "They are coming right towards the center right as planned. Don't they have any tactical skills?"
Well, it's okay for me.
Y/N: "Are there already casualties?"
The radio responded soon.
Radio: "No, everything is going great!"
That's the way it should be.
Soon many soldiers reached me.
They stopped in front of me and pointed their weapons at me.
Y/N: "Do not shoot! I have an offer."
The soldiers stopped and looked at me in surprise.
Soon the captain of the MTF Units appeared between his soldiers.
Our eyes met.
Captain: "I have never seen a soldier that is so tired of life."
He drew his pistol and pointed it at me.
Captain: "Ready to die?"
I looked at him coldly.
Y/N: "I would advise against it."
Captain: "What do you want?"
Y/N: "I'll give you exactly one chance to surrender."
I raised my right hand and immediately Chaos Insurgency soldiers came from behind me and the other two groups from the sides and behind.
The MTF soldiers now looked around in shock.
Y/N: "You are surrounded! So again, I give you exactly one chance to surrender and join us. What do you think of that?"
I raised my hands and waited for the enemy's response.
