Pure Love (Marriage Proposal)

I followed her with a big and happy smile, finally the exhausting working day was over.
The door closed behind us almost by itself and shortly afterwards we stood in a small, cozy little room.
Admittedly, I haven't been in this room very often, but I knew that Himari loved all these small, insignificant rooms since we moved in together.
She dragged me behind the table, which was set with rolls and an extensive range of cold cuts, and sat across from me.

'Would you like?' She asked, pointing to the sake that was standing in the middle of the table while looking at me questioningly.
I confirmed with a nod and she began to pour me the precious plum wine.
'You don't pour me sake often, is today a special day for you?' I asked her, slightly surprised by the extraordinary treatment.
She shook her head.
'No, I just thought that today is a beautiful day, so I thought it would be nice.' she replied a little absently.

(Himaris POV)

'He almost got me!'
'That can't happen!'
'Everything has to be perfect today!'
A lot of thoughts flew through my head but I put on my gentle reassuring smile to keep him from getting suspicious.

Y / N can't get suspicious, after all, I wanted to propose to him today.

'That was delicious, how about a walk in the gardens?' I looked at her and pointed to the big window showing the beautiful gardens of my huge estate.
The staff had a day off today so it was a good opportunity to see how carefully they carried out their duties.

I can also ask Himari how she got along the last few days in my absence.
She nodded with a smile.
'Of course, it's nice weather!' She replied as we got up and left the property hand in hand.

A fresh, cool and refreshing breeze was blowing towards us as we walked through the beautiful gardens together, the huge estate behind us.
"It's still somewhat new to me, I mean I've been locked in for so many years and even though I'm free again for a long time already. It still feels like a luxury that could disappear at anytime. "She said, looking down at the damp lush green grass.

The gardeners have been doing a really great job since I hired them.
I searched a lot but there is nothing I could complain about, the lawn was mowed short, not too short but not too long, so that the volume immediately caught the eye, the bushes that bordered the numerous sidewalks were also carefully trimmed and watered.
The whole scene worked in connection with the gentle rising sun, which dipped the whole horizon in a soft orange-red, almost like a picture painted by an artist.
In other words it was beautiful.

Himari, who was walking next to me until now, stopped in view of the beautiful sunrise.
'I ... I don't know what's wrong with me ........ It's like this almost every day and I'm never impressed, but now. I am.' Now the sight absolutely knocks me out. It's so incredibly beautiful."
She spoke almost in a whisper while her grip on my hand loosened a little.
I stopped next to her and turned my gaze to the horizon while I agreed with trough a slight nod.
"It's really beautiful. Right now that you are with me it's even more beautiful than usual. " I answered her.

Surprised by the sudden compliment, she looked at me and gave me a warm smile.
We looked each other in the eyes and words were lacking me when I met her beautiful yellowish eyes, the gaze of the woman I loved deeply and with whom I would like to spend the rest of my life in peace and never ending love.

(Himari's POV)

Our eyes met and I looked deep into his pure and innocent soul which he covered with so much blood just for me.
Nobody has ever given himself to me like him.
That's what sets him apart from all others, that's why I love him and not just anyone else.
Actually I wanted to wait for the perfect opportunity, but there is no moment like this again.
I will propose to Y / N now.

From her gaze she seemed lost in the depths of her mind.
What was she thinking?
Perhaps she felt just like me, so overwhelmed by love that we couldn't express ourselves clearly, that we can't grab any words and thoughts.
The sun appeared behind some trees in our garden and bathed us in its warm light.
Almost as if we were standing on a stage and receiving God's blessing.

This had to be it.
The perfect moment.

Now is the time, I will use it to propose to her, otherwise I would only regret to not using this moment later.

I freed my mind seemingly in the same moment with her so our eyes met again.

Her tails stood upright behind her while she bit on her lip thoughtfully which only underlined her nervousness.

I answered while my hand disappeared into my left pocket and grabbed the little black box.

I didn't get his words right with the only thing I've got before he finished his sentence was that he wanted to ask me something.
'I want to ask you something too, honey!' I answered.
Y / N paused and looked at me expectantly for my answer.

(Y / N's POV)

It's enough of waiting now I can't take the tension anymore.
I thought as I took the black box out of my pocket and got on my knees.
At the same moment she took a step towards me.
We looked each other in the eyes while I showed the box and gathered words that were worthy of such an important moment.

'Himari, would you like to marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?'
'Y / N Do you want to marry me and make me the happiest woman in the world ?"
We both made the proposal at the same time and looked deeply and lovingly into each other's eyes before we realized what had just happened.
Himari didn't know what to say and looked at me in surprise while she blushed, which underlined her surprise even more.
'What?' She replied in a voice that embodied her pure surprise.
'Do you want to be my wife Himari?' I answered forgetting about her own proposal.
After a few seconds she began to smile broadly and radiantly while the sunshine enveloped us in an almost divine light.

'Yes, Yes!, YES I WANT !!!" she answered suddenly overwhelmed by euphoria and enormous joy while she pulled me up to her eye level and literally jumped on me.
She put her arms around me and hugged me as tightly as she could.
Before I could say anything, she pressed her lips to mine and dominated me in record time.
To be honest, I was surprised where this energy suddenly came from, but I didn't care, now at that moment I could wanted enjoy her love.
I put my arms around her waist and pulled her into a full, loving and deep hug as I returned the kiss and closed my eyes, just enjoying the warmth of her love that lit my insides like a huge fire.

After half a minute our lips parted and we both gasped for air.
She looked at me very blushed and gave me her hand.
I took one of the two rings out of the box and put it gently and carefully over the ring finger of her right hand.
It looked wonderful on her, especially because it showed the eternal pact of our love that we sealed a few seconds ago.
This ring showed everyone that we belong together and that nothing can separate us.
Not even death.
Himari took my hand and took the second ring.
Just like I did with her, she guided the ring gently and carefully over my right ring finger.
Then we looked at our rings.
"Now we belong together, honey! You are my wife now. I couldn't be happier!" I replied while smiling at Himari.
"I couldn't be happier to be your wife, honey!' She answered immediately with a huge and loving smile.
We confirmed each other with a nod and then went back to the property to spend the rest of the day together.
