The Heir of Slytherin- Harry Potter (Male Reader)

1.16 End of the Year

For a moment, there was silence as Harry, Ron, Ginny and Lockhart stood in the doorway. Y/N, still hidden from Lockhart, couldn't see who was in the room. Then there was a scream "Ginny!"

After Harry, Ron and Lockhart had stepped further into the room, Y/N could now see what was going on. In front of him stood Ginny who was buried under two adult redheads. Infront of the desk stood Albus Dumbledore, who was watching Y/N curiously. Next to him was Professor McGonagall who had just watched the scene between Ginny and, as Y/N suspected, her parents, but when she spotted Y/N her gaze darkened and eyebrows furrowed at him suspiciously.

A moment later, Ginny's mother pulled Harry and Ron into a hug and sobbed. "You saved her! You saved her!" Next to her stood a man whom Y/N recognized as Arthur Weasley, whom he had already seen in Diagon Alley that summer. He had spotted him and now pulled Ginny behind his back, with a clenched fist and a red head he looked down at Y/N.

Y/N who had not missed the scowl of Mr Weasley muttered to himself "Not again" Despite Mr Weasley's angry look, Y/N held eye contact and looked at him calmly giving him a faint grin. That was a mistake because Mr Weasley didn't understand Y / N's grin as a friendly gesture, rather as a provocation "I never thought that the son of M / N and F / N would commit such a disgusting act, but that you have the boldness to grin at me so cheekily is even worse." yelled Mr Weasley.

Mr Weasley's screams made Mrs Weasley flinch. When she turned and saw Y / N, every colour left her face. Shivering, she pulled Harry and Ron behind her and looked at Dumbledore as if asking him to help her husband deal with Y/N. But Dumbledore made no move to intervene, although he was straightened up a bit and looked tenser.

"I think you have misunderstood something, Sir" said Y/N politely. Mr Weasley got even angrier. He took a step towards Y/N but was stopped by Ginny. She had slipped past her father and was standing in front of him, pressing him against his stomach with her hands. "Stop it. It wasn't him," she said.

Her father looked at her in disbelief for a moment. But then he caught himself again and shook his head. "You don't even know what you're talking about," he replied, gently pushing her aside. "It has to be him or do you see another Slytherin here?" he stated. Y/N gulped. He was quite smart and knew some spells that were also suitable for combat, but against a full grown wizard he was inferior both physically and in his wizarding skills.

He took another step back and instinctively twitched his hand towards his cloak to grab his wand. This movement was not overlooked by Mr. Weasley because he did the same and pulled out his wand. But before Mr. Weasley even cast a spell, he stiffened as if he had been hit by the Petrificus Totalus charm. Albus Dumbledore was standing in the room with his wand raised and looking angrily down at Mr. Weasley. "I'm afraid I cannot allow you to pass judgment before the accused has been allowed to explain, Arthur" said Dumbledore in a calm voice but the twinkle in his eyes showed how upset he was by Mr. Weasley's acting.

"But Dumbledore," gasped Mrs. Weasley. "You can't," but Dumbledore silenced her with a raised hand. "So please tell us what happened," said Dumbledore, giving Y/N and Harry a warm smile. Y/N motioned Harry to begin. He put the sword on the desk and began telling them everything. He told them about hearing a voice, how Hermione had finally realized that he was hearing a basilisk in the pipes, how he and Ron had followed the spiders into the forest and how he managed to figure out where the entrance was "... and in the chamber I met Y/N" said Harry and glanced over to him.

Mrs. Weasley shot around and looked reproachfully at Dumbledore. Y/N mentally cursed Harry "And how did you get there, Y/N" Dumbledore asked.

"Well" he said with a sigh and scratched the back of his head. He started talking about finding the writing on the wall after coming out of McGonagall's office and then hiding from her in the toilet. He told how he got into the chamber and found Ginny lying on the floor. How he met an unknown boy named Tom Riddle and how Harry got into the chamber. And continued until he was knocked out by the spell coming from Riddle.
