I'm sorry I haven't uploaded anything lately. I've been pretty busy and just haven't found the time to write. I hope I'll be able to update more regularly from now on.

The next few days were relatively uneventful, at least for Y/N and the Slytherins. The story of Longbottom's Boggart had spread in no time, and, unfortunately, Professor Snape had heard of it too. Since then, Potions has been worse than ever for him. Snape let no opportunity slip away to make fun of him or to embarrass him. For which he earned angry looks from the Gryffindors and laughter from the Slytherins.

"Sometimes I feel sorry for Longbottom," Y/N said to Blaise on the way to her next class. Before that, they had had potions. Snape had teased him so hard that he started crying and whimpering. Of course, Potter had jumped up, to stand by his friend, and caught himself a round of detention.

Blaise just shrugged "Depends" he replied "If it wasn't so funny, I would feel a little more pity" after a short pause he added with a grin "I find Potter more pitiable" "Why that?" Asked Y/N surprised and frowned. "Simple. He just doesn't learn when to shut up," Blaise replied.

"You're right, but what's pitiful about it, it's just stupid," said Y/N and folded his arms in front of his chest. "Longbottom learns from his mistakes, you can't deny that he gets better, even if he takes small steps. Potter, on the other hand, always does the same thing and then gets upset about the result. And that's just sad," Blaise explained. "Well, I see what you mean, but I definitely won't feel sorry for Potter about it."

"Just because you don't like him," Blaise added quietly. Y/N ignored this comment "Come on, I don't want to be late" And they hurried down the hall toward the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

Defense Against the Dark Arts had quickly become the favourite subject of most students. Lupin had a very hands-on approach, so every lesson had been interesting.

When Y/N and Blaise arrived in front of the classroom, they found their classmates waiting in front of the room. "You see we're on time," Blaise said delightedly. As always, the Slytherins and Gryffindors stood apart and glared at each other.

Y/N and Blaise joined the other Slytherins. Draco was leaning against the wall, his arm thick bandaged. "Is it still that bad, Draco?" Y/N asked scornfully and pointed to his bandaged arm. Draco raised his eyebrows in confusion, then nodded. A small grin crept over his face.

"Why do you ask?" Pansy asked sharply "Do you think he wears the bandages for fun?" Y/N shook his head, surprised by her sudden reaction "No, I was just wondering whether he can attend Quidditch training, last week we had to train without him" said Y/N casually. "Imagine they couldn't play their first game against Gryffindor because of that, or worse, they need a new seeker" said Blaise. Strangely Draco's face lit up and the grin on his face grew bigger.

"What are you up to now?" Y/N asked sceptically and raised an eyebrow. Draco just shook his head. "Hm nothing, I just had an idea," he explained. Next to Draco the door creaked and Professor Lupin stepped into the hallway. "Sorry for the delay. I still had to prepare something. So please come in"

The lesson was less exciting. They couldn't just practice spells. Today, as Professor Lupine said, they were preparing for the coming hour when they were going to talk about Red Caps.

At the end of the lesson when everyone had packed their feathers, books and parchment in their bags and threw them over their shoulders, Professor Lupin cleared his throat, "Mr L/N, could I have a word with you?"

Y/N turned around he had no idea why Lupin would want to talk to him. "Of course Professor, is there something wrong with my essay?" Professor Lupine gave him a small smile and shook his head "No, everything is fine" "Uh ok" replied Y/N "Go ahead" he said to Blaise. His friend nodded, gave Lupin another curious look, and then left the class.
