Chapter 7

"RAMONA!"

Someone shouts and I fall from my bed.

I groan and look at my idiot friend Alisha.
"Is there a reason to why I was rudely awaken on a Saturday morning" I say in an annoyed manner.

"Oh shut up I've been trying to wake you up for ten minutes. You sleep like a log and that is out hand my dear friend. " she says and manages to make me laugh.

"Now hurry up and get dressed, remember we are going dress shopping for Emily's engagement party this evening to your beloved brother Zac. Do you remember now you bitch."
She says with a scowl on her face.

I pout and her face immediately softens . I know I'm cute.
"Dress up mona geez and be down in ten minutes and don't you dare take any longer " she says and leaves the room. She fan be scary sometimes.

I get up and brush my teeth then shower for three minutes and dress up.
I am feeling cute today so that's how I dress up. I wear a black off shoulder top paired with its black shorts. Its a cute suit designed by my mom .

I get downstairs and see the ladies of our families ready to go. My mom ,aunt Mia, Emily, Alisha, Sophie and Amanda.

"Okay ladies let's get moving" I said in a cheery tone.

We got into two SUV's and we were off.

When we got to the mall, my dragged us to all her shops to pick out dresses.
She didn't want us I quote 'to pick out rubbish clothes from other stores.'

My mom was really best at her designing job cause everyone picked out a beautiful dress and we were left with picking out the bride's dress.

For that mom dragged us to one of her bridal stores where Emily is to pick up a dress for her engagement party.

"Ok everyone wait here while Mia and help her pick out a dress " she said and rushed Emily into another room.

Whilst they were inside the rest of us were chatting away.

After like so many minutes the white double doors opened and everyone gasped. I turned around and my jaw dropped.

"Emily, you like an angel sent from heaven" as always I had to prove my point by shedding a few tears.
Emily was grinning and she was glowing. My brother was very lucky.

"Emily just leave Zac and marry me" Amanda commented and we all laughed.

"Shh Mason will be heartbroken" Emily
giggles.

"Ok ladies it's time to leave a get ready for the party. Come honey let's get you out of the dress"

When we got home Alisha and started to get ready in my room whilst the others in theirs.
The party was at our family mansion or shall palace a few miles away from the  crowded New York city. Luckily it was just a 30 minute drive for everyone to get there.

This mansion was for both the Carters and the Daniels . We have our homes but that house was there if we all wanted to get together anytime. It has a ballroom which is the engagement is happening.

I showered and shaved the began doing my hair and makeup. Alisha was currently slipping into her dress and I helped zip her up.

"So how do I look?" Alisha has always been beautiful with her thickness and caramel brown eyes which glow in the light.
Her dress was beautiful, it was black silk dress with a slut running from her upper thigh to the bottom and it had spaghetti straps.

"Like a goddess my dear sister." I hugged a smiled at her

"Thank you. Now let's get you dressed " she said them took out my dress and gave it to me.

My dress wa white and black with a slit as well and it was strapless but could hold my bust pretty well.  It hugged my curves and it's funny to say but this dress makes me feel POWERFUL.
Ok um gonna go before I go insane.

When Alisha saw me she squealed and said how sexy I looked and how her brother is gonna drool tonight . You know what I did with I comment, I freaking blushed. That man drives me insane even in his absence .

"Ok time to go everyone's waiting" I grabbed my purple velvet clutch and followed Alisha downstairs where the ladies were waiting at.

"Let's take off senoritas " Alisha and I said in sync . Sophie, Amanda and our mothers stopped to compliment us we waited for Emily.

She then descended the stairs with two stylists behind and I can just say again my brother is one damn lucky bastard. She really looked gorgeous.

"Emily I'm so glad you get to become my daughter, even though Nicholas (Ramona's dad ) and I could never replace your parents, I hope you we are always going to be there for you. From now on I have four daughters (including her son Tyler's girlfriend Skyler)" my mother said which led them both into tears. I think 9 cried a little too.

"Okay enough of this let's get you to the party." My mom said and we took off.
We were meeting my older sister Samira and her boyfriend Dylan at the party.

When we arrived at the party everyone's attention turned to us and to Emily.  I led her to my brother who was eagerly waiting to touch his fiance and it made me laugh.

"Zac you chose well bro take care of this beautiful jem we call Emily Esmeralda White" I hugged him and missed his cheek  whilst he grinned at me .

I smiled and walked away to find Samira. I started to browse through my phone which made me oblivious to my surroundings. I bumped into a wall of muscle. The person helped me balance myself and I then looked up at the person and scowled.

"My my, Jewel you look beautiful. And sexy too" he whispered in my ear and made me feel flustered.

"Why thank you, you look quite ravishing yourself Dishan" I complimented.

He smirked and his eyes held amusement. Oh no
This is gonna be a long night.
