Chapter 7 [edited]

Alisha and Emma made their way to Umbridge's office reluctantly, dreading the detention ahead of them. As they entered her very pink office, Umbridge smiled at them, motioning to two desks that she had moved into the room.

The two girls shared a look before sighing, making their way to their seats.

The pain in Alisha's hand felt worse than the last time. She had parted ways with Emma only a couple of minutes ago. Alisha made her way into the Slytherin common room, exhausted. She was expecting it to be empty, but someone sat by the fire. Draco Malfoy.

She attempts to walk right past him, but he stood up, blocking her way. Alisha stepped back, looking up into his eyes with frustration.

"Let me go, Malfoy," she growled. Draco shook his head, holding out his hand. Alisha furrowed her eyebrows at him. "Show me your hand," he mumbled, his eyes refusing to meet hers. She rolled her eyes, placing her hand in his. His hands surprised her. They were warm and soft, but you could still feel the calluses from the tightness of the rings on his fingers.

Draco squinted at her newly scarred hand. It was already starting to fade, like it always did. Her hand was still red and tender, and it was scabbing over. But you could still see the words Umbridge had made her write.

I must be punctual.

Draco examined her hand, slowly running his long fingers around her scar. He sighed, dropping her hand. He slowly moved to the side, letting Alisha pass to her dorm. She shot him a sarcastic smile, her jaw tightening as she turned.

Alisha glanced at Draco as her hand hovered over the door handle. She watched as tore his hands through his hair. She furrowed her eyebrows in slight confusion, but slipped into her dorm silently.
