Draco rubbed his hands over his face anxiously. He had been awake all night, thinking about what Blaise and Theo had said a while ago. He had spent lots of time with Alisha since then, and he was starting to realize his feelings.
Draco let out a heavy breath as he made his way to one of the many trees on the grounds of Hogwarts. Alisha sat under the tree, reading a book. He smiled slightly as he approached her. She smiled up at him.
"What's up?" she asked. Draco took a seat next to her as she placed her book down. She furrowed her eyebrows as she saw the nervous expression written across Draco's features.
"I wanted to tell you something," Draco mumbled. Alisha nodded, chuckling lightly. Draco let out a heavy breath before confessing everything he felt for her.
Alisha sat frozen in her spot as he finished speaking. She opened and closed her mouth, debating on what she should say to him.
"Draco, I do have feelings for you. It's just not as strong as the feelings I have for someone else," she said, trailing off towards the end. Draco nodded, looking down at his hands.
"Granger," he stated. Alisha nodded, biting the inside of her cheek.
"I'm sorry," she whispered. Draco shook his head, forcing a smile onto his face. "I get it, I promise," he said. Alisha let out a breath, ripping the petals off of a flower one by one.
"I hope this doesn't make things awkward," she said. Draco chuckled, running a hand through his platinum blonde hair.
"It won't."
