Alisha trudged up to the Great Hall the next day, dreading the next week. She was about to sit down at her usual seat at the Slytherin table, but stopped when she heard Draco's voice calling to her.

"Norman! Come sit with me!"

Alisha gritted her teeth, clenching her fists tightly. She felt her nails dig into the palm of her hands, surely leaving scars. She took a deep breath before turning sharply on her heel, making her way over to Draco. He patted the bench next to him, making Alisha squint her eyes.

"Seriously?" she asked. He grinned cheekily up at her, nodding. She rolled her eyes, taking the seat next to him. Alisha looked across the room, searching the Hufflepuff table with her eyes.

Emma looked back at her with a hurt look written across her features. Alisha sighed, gaining the attention of Draco. He followed her gaze to Emma, a smirk spreading across his face.

Alisha carefully ran her fingers over her the back of her red, tender, hand, mentally vowing to herself that she would explain everything to Emma as soon as she got her chance. Emma had always been there for her when she needed it, and Alisha couldn't imagine her life without her. She was snapped out of her thoughts by Draco's annoying voice.

"Aren't you going to eat?" he asked. Alisha shook her head in response, looking down at the table. Draco resumed eating and discussing something with Blaise. Alisha completely ignored the angry daggers that Pansy Parkinson was shooting her through her eyes. She finally got tired of it, and looked up to meet Pansy in the eyes.

"You know Parkinson, if you keep staring at me, everyone's going to think you fancy me," she said. Pansy scoffed, looking away from Alisha.

"But then again, who could forget your obsession with Malfoy?" she continued. Even Draco laughed, which took Alisha by surprise. Pansy was now beet-red. She grabbed her bag, hurrying away from the table with a huff.

As soon as breakfast ended, Alisha attempted to get away from Draco and his gang, but he pulled her back, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "Not so fast, Norman," Draco teased. Alisha shrugged his arm off of her, turning to face him.

"Carry my bag for me. We have double Potions this morning."

Alisha opened her mouth to protest, but closed it, remembering Umbridge's detention from the night before. Draco held out his satchel with his signature smirk on his face. She reluctantly grabbed the bag from him, swinging it over her shoulder, along with her own bag. They started off down the hallway and towards the Potions classroom.

"Blaise, go with Goyle. Norman's sitting with me," Draco announced as they entered the classroom. Alisha groaned, sinking into the seat beside Draco. Professor Snape entered the classroom in his usual dramatic way, his cloak billowing behind him.

He glanced at Alisha and Draco, and then at Blaise and Goyle. He ignored it, continuing his way towards the front of the classroom.

"Invigoration Draught. Three hours of brewing time. Your other professors have agreed to grant an extra hour for you to brew this potion. Get started immediately," Professor Snape explained. The sound of flipping pages filled the room as everyone started on their potions.

"I'll get the cauldron," Alisha said, already making her way towards them. She grabbed a cauldron, as well as a stirring rod. Draco sat at their desk quietly, a smirk present on his face.

"Go get the ingredients," he said. Alisha tightened her jaw, but made her way to the cabinet anyway. She grabbed all of the necessary ingredients, scowling at Draco on her way back. Alisha immediately got started on the potion, completely ignoring Draco's attempts to annoy her. He constantly tapped her shoulder or hummed in her ear. She continued to work, despite his constant nagging.

Alisha let out a heavy breath as she leaned back in her seat. Professor Snape made his way to their table, examining their finished potion.

"Well done," he said, no emotion showing on his face, "ten points to Slytherin."

Alisha smiled slightly as Snape walked away from their table. "I knew we would do well. I happen to be great at potions," Draco said. Alisha glared at him before rolling her eyes. She let out another heavy breath, turning away from the blonde-haired boy with her arms crossed.
