i walk through the halls of my highschool and i notice all of the conversations being made around me. i was on my way to my last period of the day, which was luckily gym class.

but luckily, i was going to be able to see my best friend, alex mercer.

as i made my way to the gymnasium, i noticed alex waving at me for me to come over and i smiled.

"hey blondie,"i said and he rolled his eyes.

"please don't call me that, it makes me feel like i'm a barbie doll,"he said and i bursted out laughing.

"no one has bothered you today right?"i asked, getting serious. alex has been getting made fun of just because he likes boys.

also, i'm just very protective of him, considering i consider him like a little brother.

"oooh, y/n, 3 o' clock,"alex said and i turned around to see my crush walk in and i blushed.

reggie peters. you would possibly consider him a cliche since he is a jock and has an amazing girlfriend, i've liked him since middle school, but i'll honestly never have a chance is i'm really being honest with myself.

i know it's practically a cliche but it's still true. i watched as he had his hand through his hair and i was brought back down to earth when the whistle blew.

"alright kids! let's do a few laps!"my gym teacher said.

once the period ended, i went to my gym locker to find possibly water because my dumb self forgot to bring water with me for gym.

as i opened my locker, a piece of paper fell out and i picked it to see it was a note that read:

i blushed reading that and i knew that it stood for secret admirer. who could be noticing me of all people? is this possibly a prank? i looked around to see that no one was around.

i quickly put the note in my pocket and alex had walked in.

"hey y/n, ready to go?"he asked.

"yeah,"i replied and we got our stuff, beginning to walk home.

we walked to his house and i afterwards i went to mine. as i unlocked the door, i could immediately tell that my mom already went to work. she left my favorite type of muffins.

i went up to my room and began to wonder who could have given me that note. i know there is no possibility that's it's someone i don't know.

i just got comfortable and started my homework. eventually i finished and went to bed.

i woke up the next morning and i got ready for school. i went downstairs to see my mom making breakfast.
