i was so frustrated when i heard i was going on vacation not just with my family and my best friend, but with the peters also. i don't have a problem with them, just with one of them. reggie peters. been an enemy of mine since day one but i don't want to talk about what happened between us.

as i was packing my bags, my younger sister, elle, walked in and sat next to my suitcase.

"hey big sis, mom says to come down for breakfast,"she said, walking over to me and giving me a good morning hug.

"okay, are you packed and ready to go?"i asked.

"of course, i'm really excited to go on vacation,"she said, walking out and downstairs. i sighed and i followed her to get my breakfast.

my mom and i actually had a fight about the peters coming along and now we aren't really talking, hence one of the reasons why my sister came up to tell me about breakfast.

i walked in to see my mom holding a cup of coffee and looking down at her phone as well. she didn't even dare to look at me.

after eating my breakfast, i went back upstairs to finish packing and everyone else was already in the car. once i went outside, i saw the peters in their car and the door already open for me.

after a 4 hour car ride, we finally made it to our beach cabins. mom was planning to be near the beach and have fun. she and mrs. peters agreed on this together and i have no problem about this either.

there were 3 cabins and our parents wanted to split it evenly as possible. my parents take one, mr. and mrs. peters have the other, and elle, reggie and i share the last one.

i groaned hearing the last option but i walked with elle to the cabin anyway.

"you have everything?"i asked her and she smiled at me.

"yes, can we watch a movie later?"she asked and i smiled back.

"of course,"i replied.

once her and i are about to walk into the cabin, reggie barges through us and gets himself settled in first. i roll my eyes and try not to react for the sake of my sister.

"alright let's go,"i told her and i knew that mom helped her pack, so i knew i had to help her unpack.

i saw a bunkbed and a regular bed which reggie already took.

"do you want the top or bottom?"i asked.

"top!"she exclaimed and i smiled. i looked over at reggie who was staring at me smirking. i looked away uncomfortably and continued doing what i was doing.

i helped her get settled and i let her have my phone to watch one of her favorite movies.

"well, look who it is,"reggie said.

"y/n can we go to mommy?"elle asked.

"sure,"i said and grabbed her hand walked her to go with mom. i walked back in and started unpacking.

"this is going to be a very fun vacation,"reggie said and i just ignored him.

"oh, so it's the silent treatment today?"he teased and i sighed, placing my sheets on my bed and putting my clothes away.

i walked into the bathroom and he followed me, having a weird look on his face.

"why are you ignoring me, y/n?"he asked and i put my soaps and toothbrush away. i walked out only to be pulled back in by reggie and i lost my balance, falling on top of him and blushing, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"are you going to ignore me now?"he asked, instantly running out to find my family completely flustered and i sighed.

why did that happen? and why did i feel so nervous?

i shook that feeling off and just continued to find my dad sitting in front of his and mom's cabin.

"hey dad,"i said.

"hey sweetheart, did you finish unpacking?"he asked and that instantly brought me back to that moment i just had with reggie.

"yes i did, where is mom?"i asked and he motioned his hand to inside the cabin. i walked inside to see her putting on a swimsuit and elle still watching a movie, just on mom's TV.

"oh, hi y/n,"she said and i knew it was really bad if she mainly said my own name.

"hi mom, why do you have you swimsuit on?"i asked.

"for a model photoshoot, what else
y/n?"she asked sarcastically.

"anyway, everyone is coming along, so you and elle, go and get your suits on.

elle and i walked over to my mom who was by herself sitting on a blanket on the beach and elle instantly ran over to her and hugged her tight. i sat next to them.

"mom?"i asked.

"yes y/n?"she asked.

i apologized to my mom and as i did that, i saw none other than reggie and his parents come over to us and reggie gave me a look in disgust.

as i was going to get up to go to the ocean with elle, i trip over something to see it was reggie's foot and i glare at him, throwing a towel at him.

"y/n y/l/n!!"my mom shouted and i sighed.

"i'm sorry mom,"i said.

"get back to your cabin, now!!"she yelled and i slightly jumped.

i grabbed my stuff and i walked back to my cabin.

"hey wait up!"reggie said, trying to grab my arm and i pulled away.

"get away from me peters! i don't want anything to do with you! you've made my whole trip miserable! quit messing with me! i've had it!"i said and walked into the cabin, going to the bathroom but before i could, a hand pulled me back.

reggie pulled me into a kiss and i shivered and blushed realizing i was only in my 2 piece still.

"y/n, i'm in love with you, and i've only made you feel that way because i was trying to hide my own feelings, please forgive me,"he said.

"i don't know if i can, maybe if you kiss me again?"i asked and he smirked, pulling me into a kiss again.
