i was walking on my way to "a special event" my dad wanted to take me to. i honestly have a feeling i am not going to like this so anyway, i brought along my best friend, felix.

once we arrived i had realized why my dad wanted me to wear something nice. it was a wedding! geez! i'm just going to be there for the food for sure. once we entered, we all of course greeted some people and i think felix had the same idea. we both sprinted to where there was any sweets or food.

"so BFR- he cut me off.

"what does that even mean bambi?"he asked.

"big french radish-,"i started to laugh as i knew i had made that up.

"i'm not even that much taller than you, bambi,"he said.

he calls me bambi because that is my favorite movie right now and i am completely obsessed with it right now.

as we sat down, i noticed a guy and his dad in which my dad was talking to and the boy was staring at me. i looked away. the guy was none other than luke patterson and his dad.

i've always thought he was cute but i didn't think anything of this little crush i had.

"don't drool bambi,"felix said and i rolled my eyes.

"come on, you know i don't like him like that,"i lied and he gave me a look.

"okay then,"he said and stood up and walked over to luke. i tried to grab his arm but he was too fast.

"darn it,"i murmured to myself and then within a minute later, he came back over.

"let's go bambi,"he said.

"what did you do? i told you i don't like him,"i said.

"because, i want to be an uncle radish,"he said.

"what?"i asked as i stood up, not hearing him.

"um, nothing...,"he trailed off and i rolled my eyes. we walked over to the table my dad was at with luke and his dad.

"hey dad,"i said as felix and i sat down.

"hey honey, you know the patterson's,"he said and i smiled.

"of course, hello mr. patterson and uh- you're name?"i asked. i had to act like i didn't know him so i didn't seem weird.

".... the love of your- i cut the dumb radish by nudging him harder then expected and he groaned.

"are you okay?"mr. patterson asked.

"i'm fine, i'll be back,"felix said as he glared at me and i smirked.

"honey, mitch and i will be over there if you need us,"my dad said and my heart rate quickened.

"um- okay,"i said and they left, leaving me with luke.

"i'm luke, and i've seen you before, y/n right?"he asked and i nodded.

"do you wanna dance?"i blurted out and he chuckled.

"sure,"he said and took my hand, once he did so, felix came over and his face was covered in water.

"bambi, i need help,"he said and i let go of luke's hand, his facial expression changed as soon as i let go.

"bambi?"he asked.

"inside joke,"i replied and he nodded, sitting back down and i walked off with felix.

"what happened? what did you do now radish?"i asked.

"oh i broke one of the sinks, please don't tell anyone, anyways, how is it going? i noticed you guys holding hands,"he said getting giddy.

"well we were going to go dance until you interrupted us,"i said and he slapped his own face.

"pfft- he cut me off.

"i'm sorry i'm such an idiot,"he said and pushed me all the way back to the table where luke was still sitting.

"wha- he cut me off again.

"make me an uncle, this ship must happen,"he said and walked away. i sighed at his weirdness and luke was staring at me smiling.

"do you still want to dance? i'm sorry about that,"i said.

"it's okay and of course,"he said.

a slow dance came on and luke had pulled me closer which made me blush.

"hey y/n?"he asked.

"yes, husband?"i asked.

"what?"he asked and it came to realization to what i said.

"nothing,"i replied.

"are you and felix dating?"he asked.

"oh, no, he's my bestie,"i replied.

"alright then, because i wanted to ask you if you wanted to go out to dinner sometime?"he asked.

"i would love to,"i replied and he kissed my cheek and we continued to slow dance until felix blew some type of confetti.

"that's my best friend! period bambi!"he yelled and i shook my head.

"go away radish!"i yelled back.
