Since When Was "Arranged Marriage" a Bad Thing?

13)Café

No one's P.O.V 

"Hello omonie." Min Ji bowed to Leo's mother when they accidentally run into each other while shopping.

"Oh, hello Min Ji. How are your your parents?" Leo's mother replies.

"They're doing fine thank you for asking. How are you? How's your health?" I've been fine thank you. Just a little stressed." Leo's mother said grabbing her head being overly dramatic.

"Why what's wrong?" Min Ji responded.

"It's just, my husband wants Leo to marry that Mina from the Han family. The other day we were having dinner, and she v didn't even know how to use the cutlery. I just don't think she's suited for our Leo, but my husband insists that it was a promise he had made in his younger days. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I don't want him to marry her." Leo's mother said grabbing her neck this time.

"Omonie, I have an idea, how about I tell you over lunch?" Min Ji said with a scheming face.

Leo's P.O.V 

We had been practicing for our HEX concert day and night. I wanted to check up on Mina to see how she was doing but I still had to talk to Min Ji.

"Hello?" Min Ji answered my phone call.

"Hey, it's me Leo, and well we have to talk, you know about the song." I said awkwardly.

"Oh, right. I'm actually at a café down the block from the Jellyfish building. How about you meet me here?" She said.

"That great, I'll meet you there." I said and started jogging down the street.

When I arrived, I saw my mom getting into her car and driving away with Min Ji waving goodbye. How strange.

I let Min Ji go in and situate herself before going in.

"Hey." I said as I took a seat from across her.

"Hey, that was fast." She said.

"Yeah, have you been waiting long?" I asked.

"No I actually just got here." She said. Liar.

I shook my head to show some response. "So, the song you were playing yesterday... did Hwa Young ask you to write it?"

"Hwa Young? Who's- oh Hwa Young! No, she really liked it though. How has she been? I haven't seen her in a while." She said revealing herself.

"Oh she's been just fine." I said trying to get information from her. "Could you possibly play the song for me once more?" I asked.

"Uh..... sure, b-but there isn't a piano here so it'll have to be some other time." She said nervously.

"Actually, I downloaded this app, why don't you try it on here?" I said.

"No! I mean I won't sound the same." She said receiving a blank stare from me. "But I'll give it a try anyway." She said defeated.

It was like the first time, it was all perfect, and then that part was completely different.

"Thank you that was perfect." I lied.

"Really? Mina- never mind. Thank you." She said. I pretended to have not heard Mina's name.

"Well I'm going to head back now. We're busy practicing for our solo concert." I made an excuse to leave.

"No, wait. Have a coffee with me since you're already here." She insisted.

"I really have to-" I started to go but was shocked when I saw N's arm around Mina and walking past the café. "What the?" I said as I was about to run after them, but Min Ji grabbed my arm and pleaded for me to stay. I stayed because I didn't want to run into them.

N's P.O.V 

I had asked the secretary of the Jellyfish building where Leo had gone.  She had said that he had left somewhere, but she thought that it was urgent because he had ran outside. I decided to go and look for him because our break was almost over and our choreographer would be awfully pissed if he wasn't on time.

I walked down the street and as I was passing by the café we frequented, I saw Leo sitting with Min Ji. Even though he hadn't officially announced him dating Mina, we weren't stupid, so why is he here with Min Ji? I was going to go on and confront him myself, but I saw Mina walking towards the café. If she saw them together, she would be devastated. I ran towards her to surprise her.

"Mina!" I yelled across the street. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, hey N. Min Ji called me here. I think she wants to apologize." She said not knowing what awaited her inside.

"Apologize? Nevermind. I just came out from there, and there wasn't anybody there. How about I take you to our practice room instead? So you can see our performances?" I said trying to divert her attention off the café.

"That sounds fun! Is Leo there? I haven't been able to get a hold of him for like a week and I was starting to get worried." She said marking my success.

We started walking past the cafe, when she started turning her head to look into the café. I quickly threw my hand around her to get her to look at me instead of the café. When we passed the danger, I took my arm off her and said, "Aigoo, why is our Mina so short."

"I'm not short, I'm 5'5" " She said, starting at me blankly.

"Still short." I tried to convince her.

"Says the shortest member of VIXX." She said getting me right in my pride.

"Didn't you know? I'm the one in charge of height." I said earning a chuckle from her.

I texted Leo to let him know to be back in 5.

N: hey Taek Woon-ah, you have to be here in 5.
T: what the hell were you doing with Mina?

Woah, some one had an attitude.
N: same goes to you, what were you doing with Min Ji?
T: you saw that? Did Mina see us too?
N: luckily no she didn't. Anyhow be here in 5, she's here waiting for you. T: thanks

Leo's P.O.V 

"I really have to go now." I said as I excused myself.

"Wait, can't you stay 5 more minutes?" Min Ji said as she checked her phone for the time.

"No I really can't. Thanks for the coffee, take care." I said as I ran full speed back to the Jellyfish building.

Min Ji's P.O.V 

Damn. I told Mina to be here. She was supposed to find Leo and I here, but she never showed up. I was going to have to make up for this somehow otherwise I would look bad in front of Mr.Jung.
