Nobody's P.O.V
"MINA!!!!!!" Leo yelled at the top of his lungs expecting Mina to open her eyes.
The mind devastating beep continued. The babies were taken out to be weighed and examined.
The doctor brought out the electric paddles and asked for the first voltage.
"Step back. Clear!" The doctor said as Mina's frail body jumped up. "Raise it 100 more." The doctor demanded. "Clear!" The doctor said once more. Mina's body looked like it would break.Leo's P.O.V
"Last time. Clear!" The doctor announced as Mina's body jumped into the air causing her arms to fall to her side.
Mina. Baby.... please, please just open your eyes. We started this together, we have to end it together. We have to raise them, see them grow, see their first steps, hear their first words, celebrate their birthdays, send them to school, meet their friends, see them fall in love just like we did. We were supposed to grow old together. Mina...... just please, please I beg you open your eyes. Lord please let Mina live!"Han Mina is pronounced dead at 5:20 a.m on June 4th 2015." The doctor pronounced as he put the paddles back in their place. He began covering Mina with a blue sheet.
"No! She can't be dead. What are you doing? Is this all you could do?!" I shouted at the doctor holding him by the collar.
"I'm sorry, I warned you about the possible outcomes. I'm very sorry." He said as he exited the room leaving Mina's face uncovered.
"Mina! Why have you left me!!!!!! You promised me you never would! Mina baby please! I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout at you. I promise to never do it again. Just...... just come back." I said as I crawled to her side.
The nurse walked in. "Would you like to hold your babies? They're very healthy congratulations." She said unaware of the situation. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry." She said as she began exiting the room.
"Hold on, bring me our babies." I said wiping my tears.
She brought them in.
"Mina, look it's our babies. The ones that you and me made with so much love. The ones that you nurtured with all your being and carried for 9 months. You can't leave us." I said as I began bawling one again. Or babies must have sensed my passion and both simultaneously began crying.
"Shhhhhh please don't cry. Mommy wouldn't like you crying." I said to our babies.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
I looked up. The doctor hadn't disconnected Mina from the heart monitor. The green line was replaced by hills and valleys. The ear wrecking beep turned into short bearable ones. I handed our babies to the nurse and ran out to get the doctor.
Thank you Mina! Thank you for not abandoning us.
