Since When Was "Arranged Marriage" a Bad Thing?

3)First impressions

Leo's P.O.V

There was a knock on my bedroom door.

"Come in." I said knowing it was my butler.

"Sir, your father sent this. I don't mean to butt in, but I think it's time for... you know the marriage talks." He said as he set the large white box down on my bed.

"What makes you say that?" I asked him.

"This note." He said as he handed me a note.

"Thanks you can leave now." I said as I opened the note.

It read:
In the box you'll find a tux. I opened the box and sure enough there was a black designer suit with a tie. You know what this means. Tonight you will be meeting Hani Corporations' daughter. Don't act like a rude jerk and don't ruin the deal. You'll be going on a date, I thought it would be better if you two meet first and got to know each other, and then we'll proceed with the marriage talks. Oh and here is her phone number in case you want to contact her 555-5683. -Your father

I knew this was bound to happen but just because I knew it doesn't mean I was happy for it. It was probably a spoiled girl who had everything handed to her on a silver platter from birth. I know I was one of those children but I hated people who didn't work for what they had and looked down on lower classes. I unlike my father, didn't judge people based on income.

Mina's P.O.V

I heard a knock on my door. When I opened it it was Ji Hoon and he was carrying a box and multiple bags.

"Here let me help you." I said grabbing the bags he had.

"You shouldn't have, this is what I get paid for." He said.

"What are all these?" I asked curiously.

"In the box are a couple dresses that you can choose from, in the bags there is a pair of shoes, accessories, make up, and in one of them is a phone with all the numbers including Mr.Jung Taek Woon's." He said pointing at the stuff.

"Thank you. Would you like anything to drink?" I asked because it's a basic mannerism.

"No thank you, you're a whole lot different from the other families I've worked for." He said as he giggled. "Oh right, here take this note." He handed me the note. "I'll be going now." He said as he exited through the door.

I began looking through my new things. In the box there was 4 dresses. A short, red one, a longer, purple one, a gorgeous, aqua one, and a little black one. I immediately choose the aqua one. It had a sleeveless and sequined top, and then at the waist it loosley opened. It was the only one that wasn't too formal, but I would make a good first impression. I chose silver bedazzled heels that were probably 5-6 inch heels. I rolled my hair into a silver head band that matched my shoes. And as for my make up, I had to call Ji Hoon. He sent a stylist and I was done. I opened the box with my new phone in it and then it hit me, I forgot to open the note! When I opened it, I found something along the lines of:

Here is everything you'll need for tonight. Don't show up late and don't act up. I've been inside your room and I know he's your bias, so please don't fangirl. Remember you'll be seeing him for the rest of your life if this goes well, so be sure to make a great first impression. -your mother. Be sure to meet at the park next to the Han River (I know how much you wanted to go on a date there, so I set it up there. You can thank me later.) Be there at 7 sharp! Good luck. Fighting! -Your mother

Yay! My normal mother is back. Wait what time is it? I checked my new phone and it was 7:15. I put a thick, black coat on, grabbed my new clutch, and ran out. Thankfully for me Ji Hoon was already waiting for me. I got in into the black Jaguar and we headed towards the beautiful Han River.

Leo's P.O.V

So at least I know she's not punctual. What if she isn't coming? I decided to text her courtesy of my dad.

L: So..... are you coming today? If not I don't blame you. Could you let me know ASAP cuz it's pretty cold out here.

A minute hadn't even passed when she texted back.

M: No! I mean yes, I'm on my way! Sorry for being late.

I then saw somebody that could possibly be her.

"Mina?" I asked.

"Yes why?" The girl answered.

"I'm Jung Taek Woon." I said expecting her to recognize my name.

"So?" The girl said blankly. "Ah, you're from VIXX right? Is this some kind of dare your group asked you to do?" She said.

"Wait? What's your name?" I asked trying to double check.

"Mina, Kim Mina, why?" She said looking confused.

"Never mind then, you can continue doing what you were doing." I said trying to act cool about my mistake.

"Ok?" She said as she walked off.

Mina's P.O.V

When I arrived at the assigned location, there was Leo, talking to a girl? So much for first impressions.
