Leo's P.O.V
After the other Mina left, a girl in an aqua dress stood before me. I was hoping she was the real Mina. She was everything I wanted my ideal woman to look like. But was her personality fitting of such beauty? What was I thinking? It sounded as if I was writing a poem or maybe VIXX's next song. My thoughts were interupted by the girl.
"So was that like your girlfriend or something?" She asked jokingly.
"Huh? Who? Oh her, no I thought it was you. Turns out her name is Mina too." I tried to explain.
She stared at me suspiciously before saying, "hmmmmmm, ok I'll take your word for it, but just because it's cold, and I'm hungry. How about we get going?" She said as she started leading the way to her car. A jaguar not bad, she probably threw a fit in order to get it.
Once in the car, there was an awkward silence. We both tried breaking it simultaneously.
"Ladies first." I said being courtious.
"Thank you. Well you probably already know my name. But I should introduce myself in person. My name is Han Mi Na." She said sticking out her hand.
"Jung Taek Woon." I responded the hand shake.
"You're next." She said.
"I was actually gonna do the same thing." I chuckled a bit.
"Great minds think alike." She said. Another short silence followed but thankfully we arrived at the restaurant.
"Wow!" She said admiring everything around her.
"What you've never been here before?" I asked. This was a high class restaurant after all, and her parents were the ones who suggested this place.
"Are you kidding me? Just by looking around I can tell it's really expensive." She said kind of shocking me.
"Wait.... why would you worry about the prices?" I asked.
"Well, it's kind of a long story, how about we talk about it over dinner?" She asked as we walked towards our table.
When the waiter brought our menus, Mina's eyes widened and her mouth dropped.
"Can you give us a minute?" She asked the waiter. The waiter politely nodded his head and walked away.
"Why what's wrong?" I asked.
"Did you see the prices?" She said looking shocked as I've ever seen anyone.
"Why what's wrong, too cheap?" I asked thinking she was snobby.
"Are you kidding me? You can buy a months worth food with one serving of caviar.
"Are you serious? How do you know?" I asked.
"Well, how about we get out of here first and I'll tell you." She said as she stood up. On our way out, she gave our reservation to a couple that was waiting for an open table.
"How about we walk down this street, there's a really good "restaurant" down there." She said noticing that her driver had left.
"Sure... are you gonna tell me your story now?" I asked as we started walking.
"So the thing is, I didn't even know I was rich til yesterday."
"What?" I asked in shock.
"Yeah well my patents didn't tell me...." time skip, same explanation her parents have her. "And that's how I ended up here. And hey we're here." She said pointing at a cart thingy that had a tent type thing around it.
"This is it?" I asked.
"Yeah, trust me the food here is great and the view of the Han River is the best here." She said as she found us a table to sit at.
She greeted the lady who took our order as if it were her aunt and began ordering an endless list of things. In a matter of minutes, the lady brought out large quantities of topokki, fish cakes, ramen, pork belly, and other street vendor foods. This was the first time I had ever eaten food that hadn't been cooked by a person who wasn't in the Michelín guide. I followed her lead. Ramen first because otherwise the noodles get soggy, the dip the pork belly and fish cakes in the topokki sauce, and then finish with the topokki if the was any left.
I let out a satisfied sigh as I leaned back on my chair because I was too full to breathe. She was even right about the view of the Han River.
"What'd I tell you?" She said taking out a mere $40 out of her wallet.
"What's that for?" I asked thinking she was ordering something to drink.
"I'm paying duh." She responded sarcastically.
"That's it? That's all it costs? All of this, for that?" I asked as I pointed at the money.
"Yup. And you wanted to pay $500 for a little pinch of caviar." She said as she handed the money to the lady and asked for two bottles of soju. "Let's go buy some whipped cream." She said as she grabbed my hand and ran to the convenience store across the street. Her hands were cold.
She bought a can of whipped cream and we headed to a bench right next to the river.
"Soju tastes best when it's sweet." she said as she took a sip of her green bottle and then sprayed the whipped cream in her mouth. I followed her lead. And even about this, she was right. There was a full moon out which illuminated the night. Our parents must have really put a lot of effort into this date.
We talked about her life, pre-fortune and how she didn't think she could get used to this new life. And then it was my turn.
"So I really like music, I'm 23, I'm in VIXX-"
"Oh my gosh, I know- I mean not because I'm a fan or anything it's just... Hyuk is my brother and he always talks about you when he's home." She explained but making it obvious that she was my fan.
"Hyuk is your brother? What a small world. He always mentioned he had a sister but he never said your name. Oh thanks for all the food you've sent. I didn't know you would also know how to cook well." I said making her blush.
"No problem. What do you say we call this a night, more like morning it's already 2." She said looking at her phone.
"Yeah but I'll take you home." I said. I was still suspicious if she was just putting up an act about the whole not knowing she was rich.
"Thanks." She said as I lead her to my black Audi.
When we got to her house, it was an average 2 story house, but what if it was filled with brand name things? I decided to find out on my own.
"Can I use your bathroom real quick?" I asked.
"Sure." She said opening her front door. "It's up stairs, first room to the right." She said. Prefect.
I looked around, but nothing out of the ordinary. Her parents did a really good job of concealing their fortune. I went into the bathroom and flushed the toilet so I wouldn't get caught snooping around. When I got out of the bathroom Hyuk hugged me.
"Hyung, are you living with us?" He asked not letting go.
"Get off, no I just had to use the bathroom. I gotta go though." I said as I pushed him off me.
"Wait are you going walking? There wasn't a single car out there." He said pointing down stairs.
I ran down stairs and opened the door and sure enough, he left.
