Leo's P.O.V
~flashback~
Everyday she was there. In the old geenhouse behind my family's orchard. With her delicate hands, she would press down on the black and white keys of the piano that my sister had placed in there just for her. The tune that arose from the grand piano was almost hypnotic. It was like nothing that I had heard before, and a song that no matter what prestigious musicians that I tried to explain to, could replicate it. Even to this day, I was trying to get the song made, but no one could capture the feeling of that song. I never saw her face, but if I heard that tune I would recognize her right away.
~back to reality~
It was morning and Mina hadn't awoken yet. I wasn't able to go to sleep, every time I closed my eyes it was either a painful memory, or a memory that made me want to look for the girl whose tune haunted me. Mina started wrinkling her face at the feeling of the sun rays hitting her face. I tried to block the sun but by the time I got the shadow on her eyes, she was already rubbing her eyes.
"Morning" She said then yawned.
"Good morning, did you sleep well?" I asked trying to get a conversation going.
"Mmhm." She said nodding her head while stretching out her arms.
"I'm gonna check if there's anyone in the control room again." I said while trying to stand up but failing because my legs had fallen asleep.
"Here let me help you up." She said grabbing my hand. Her hands were cold. "Thanks." I replied while struggling to get up. "Hello? Is there anybody there?" I asked again into the speaker.
"Yes, is there a problem?" A voice said from the speaker.
"Well, we've kinda been stuck in here since last night. Can you call get us outta here?" I said while looking down at a sleepy Mina.
"Oh my goodness, yes we'll call the fire department right now to get you guys out." Said the voice.
"Thank you." I said while plopping back on the floor.
It was a while before we heard the doors opening. We were just below the entrance, leaving a space just big enough to squeeze through.
"Ok. I'm going to need one of you guys to grab my hand, and I'll pull you out." Said a man in a firefighter suit.
I let Mina go first. She wasn't tall enough to get a good grip on the firefighter's hand. I lifted her up and before I knew it she was out. I too got pulled into safety. We thanked the firefighters for their hard work and tried to avoid the reporters that had accumulated for the spectacle. We bid goodbye before any rumors arose.
T: that didn't really count as date two right?
M: if you don't want it to be, we can set up one. ;)
T: how about next Friday, we have all day off.
M: sounds good, can't wait, :)No one's P.O.V
"Hyung, are you serious! He got it?!" Leo yelled having the attention if most who were present in the Jellyfish building entrance. "Sorry." He said as he bowed a little in every direction. He hadn't noticed Min Ji who had hid behind a plant decoration when he turned her way.
"He got the song?" Leo asked in a more suitable voice. Min Ji approached sneakily trying to listen to what he was taking about.
Leo walked to the stairs while Min Ji followed close by. He walked up to where he thought no one was listening.
"Ok play the song" he said while turning the speaker on his phone on.
The tune played out loud. Min Ji looked like she knew it but Leo on the other hand picked his phone up from his lap and scolded the other person.
"That's not it. Not even close." Leo said.
'Isn't that the song that Mina always plays?' Min Ji thought to herself. 'He must be looking for her.' She schemed.
Mina's P.O.V
"Mina!" Min Ji yelled from what seemed to be across campus.
"Min Ji!" I said back.
"Mina Mina Mina, can't you teach me that sing you play often? You know the one on the piano?" Min Ji said as she hugged me.
"What for?" I asked since she never seemed interested in my music.
"Just cuz, I've had it stuck in my head recently and I want to learn how to play it before it drives me insane." Min Ji convinced me. It was a common problem musicians suffered.
"Ok meet me in the greenhouse that I took you to during the rain storm." I replied determined to teach her something.
'Perfect' Min Ji thought.
