Since When Was "Arranged Marriage" a Bad Thing?

22)Hospital

Leo's P.O.V 

"Family of Han Mina?" A doctor called before surgery.

"Yes?" I responded.

"Your relationship?" The nurse next to him asked.

"Fiancé." I responded.

"Ok, so do you want to hear it as is? Or do want a sugar coated version?" The doctor asked making me feel anxious.

"Hear it as is please." I responded bravely.

"So the bullet entered the flesh directly on her upper right back. Usually in these cases the bullet goes directly into the lung and with the distance it was shot from it would have gone right through and hit her fatally in the heart. Fortunately it was stopped by one of her ribs and all we have to do is remove the bullet. However, she lost the majority of her blood when she was stabbed on both thighs and the bullet wound just added to the blood loss." The doctor announced.

Her mother and father along with Hyuk and the rest of VIXX arrived all with teary and panicked faces.

"Doctor how's our daughter?!" Her mother asked. She got the same news I had.

"We can't operate with her in this condition, she'll enter cardiac arrest due to a cardiac shock. The only thing we can do is hope that one of you guys is compatible with her and proceed with a blood transfusion." The doctor added.

"Of course, we're all willing to cooperate." N answered for all of us.

One by one, we were called in for blood samples. Finally, the results were out.

"Ms.Han, negative. Mr. Han, negative. Han Sang Hyuk, negative." The nurse began reading the results. We instantly became nervous because they, being her family, weren't compatible.

"Cha Hak Yeon, negative. Lee Jae Hwan, negative. Kim Won Shik, negative. Lee Hong Bin, negative." She continued. I was the last one left. If I wasn't compatible, I would never forgive myself.

"Jung Taek Woon, you're compatible. You're an O- (not in real life) the universal blood type." She announced the good news.

I ran and changed into the ugly robe thingy, and waited for the doctor. He brought my bed next to Mina's. She was a lifeless yellowish green pigment. It hurt every inch in my being, in my heart, to see her like this. She opened her eyes just a little bit and when she saw me, she gave me the slightest smile with those blue, chapped lips. I held her freezing hand as we were both taken into the surgery room. I got connected to all these blood sucking apparatuses that were connected to blood ejecting ones. We were there for about 20 minutes and I began feeling dizzy.

"He can be disconnected now, he'll pass out otherwise." They disconnected me from my Mina. IVs and the vitals reading machine replaced the blood transfusion tubes. I pleaded to stay so I could be sure that Mina was ok, but the nurse insisted that it went against the hospital and health regulations. As I exited the surgery room the 'in-surgery' light turned on.

Although I was a bit dizzy, I managed to get dressed and made my way back to where everyone else was. I kept watch while everyone else fell asleep. 2 hours later the doctor came outside and I woke everyone up.

"It took a little longer than usual because we went ahead and took care of the wounds on her thighs but other than that, she's perfectly fine and needs rest." The doctor announced. "We'll be moving her into a different room, but until she wakes up only one visitor at a time is allowed." The nurse added.

"Thank you doctor!" We all took turns thanking him.

I let her parents and Hyuk go first, they were her family after all. Her parents left to go get some stuff from home. It was finally my turn to see her. I entered and was heartbroken to find her unconscious and sick looking. I couldn't help but tear up at her always cold hands. I kissed her hands all the way up to her shoulders. I kissed her collarbone, her neck, her chin. Her forehead, her nose, and then her lips, but she still wouldn't open her eyes making a bitter tear run down my cheek and onto her face. I got a wash cloth from one of the nurses and cleaned her arms and legs trying to be extremely careful so as to not break her. I played with her silky hair and fell asleep.

~Leo's dream~

I awoke to the sound of an annoying beep. I didn't know what it was at first. It had started faintly but got louder as I got closer to a room. I finally got into the room. It was white and bright, and in the center was Mina on a metal table. The source of the beep, the vitals machine with a straight green line right through the center. I ran to her, but before I got to her Hyuk grabbed me by the collar.

"What have you done!" Hyuk yelled.

"I don't know! I don't know what it is that I've done!" I cried out.

"You killed her!" Hyuk yelled even louder.

"I... I killed her." I whimpered.

I felt something moving in my hair. I thought it was a fly or something so I reached for my head to swat it away. When I felt cold, slender fingers playing with my hair, I sat straight up.

"Mina!" I exclaimed when I saw her open eyes.

"Mmm?" She mumbled.

"Thank goodness. Don't ever do something so reckless like that ever again, you hear me?" I said as I planted a kiss on her forehead.

"I'm sorry that I love you that much." She whispered.

"Don't be,  it makes me the happiest man alive." I said as I was about to kiss her-

"Hey guys, she's up!" Hak Yeon yelled to the other members. Great.

They all ran in there and asked endless questions. Boy was this going to be a long day.
