Leo's P.O.V
When I arrived at the greenhouse, Min Ji was playing the song again. When she saw me enter she stood up to greet me, a completely different vibe from our first meeting. I interupted her greeting by giving her a hug. No matter how much evidence pointed to her, the hug didn't seem right. I closed my eyes to try to ignore my thoughts but I heard someone panting by the entrance. I opened my eyes to see Mina almost in tears. Her feet were all cut up, and she was shivering. I pushed Min Ji away and went to help her. I took off my coat and was about to place it on Mina, when she began walking out the moment her tears escaped her eyes. I ran to catch up to her, but she just kept limping away.
"Mina, listen to me please. You don't understand." I tried to explain.
She kept waking.
"Please, please listen to me." I pleaded.
She kept walking.
I grabbed her hand in an attempt to stop her but she ripped out her cold hand from mine to wipe a tear from her face.
This time I let her walk. I had turned around because I couldn't face her. There was nothing but the sound of her footsteps and then a thump. I turned around to see she had passed out. I immediately ran in her direction, I touched her forehead and she was burning up. She must have caught a fever because she chased after me. I lifted her up and started walking towards my house.
"Wait!" I heard Min Ji scream but I ignored it and kept walking to my house.
I barged in and all the maids freaked out and asked endless questions. I ignored it once again. I took her up to my room and gently placed her on my bed. The first thing I did was grab a thick blanket and covered her with it. I uncovered her legs and first cleaned the wounds and then bandaged her legs. I covered her legs and then I went to get a wet towel to put on her head. When I returned, her face was wet with a mixture of sweat and tears. She mumbled something along the lines of, "Nappeun chasik. Jerk/bastard"
I wiped the sweat and tears off her face. I stayed with her making sure her condition didn't worsen and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.
