Leo's P.O.V
I got to our studio and walked in to see Mina being interviewed by 4 bafoons. (Not Hyuk because he basically knows everything about her.)
"So... are you dating Leo?" Ken said doing aegyeo.
"Uh...well" She began to answer.
"I told you, we're engaged." I said to prevent Mina feeling burdened.
"Wait. You were serious when you said that?" Hong Bin said.
"Wait, then what about us?" Ravi said standing up and walking right up to me.
"Hey, sit down." N said standing to get Ravi.
Mina must have felt the tension rising between the members because she apologized and left the room.
"You guys couldn't have let me explain?!" I said upset that we had made Mina upset. "You guys are all in here, with the exception of N,"
"Present" N interupted and raised his hand.
"As I was saying, with the exception of N because you are avoiding this. You can only avoid an arranged marriage for so long. And now that I was feeling relieved because she is beyond... nevermind you won't get it." I said as I exited the room to look for Mina.
I found her up on the roof top sitting on a bench.
"Hey, sorry for that. They tend to be a little dramatic when we're working on big projects like the one coming up." I tried to make her feel better.
"Hey, don't worry about it. I didn't walk out because I was upset, I just thought you guys had to talk it out. I mean it's not like you want this. You were forced to do it, just like me." She responded with a caring look.
"But the thing is... I'm starting to want this." I said before planting a kiss on her forehead.
She lifted her head after I removed my lips from her forehead and looked me in the eye and said, "Me too."
I then have her the most passionate kiss I could've given anyone.
Mina's P.O.V
We walked back into the studio and there was 6 sets of eyes, including Leo's looking at me.
"Hey guys, so how about we go and get some chicken? My treat." I said knowing that the best way into a man's heart is through his stomach.
"Yes!" Exclaimed everyone.
We headed out and went to the nearest fried chicken place. That was the first time, Leo held my hand. I felt bad because my hands were cold, but thankfully his hands warmed them up for me.
We got back into the studio and while all of VIXX practiced downstairs, I played with the instruments upstairs.they had everything here: guitars, a piano, a drum set, a bass guitar, a violin, and other percussion instruments. I being the music major that I am, felt that this was heaven. I played with everything. I played the piano last since I only knew like one song on it. I played the song that Hwa Young unni helped me compose to get into Seoul University. Hwa Young had been my mentor since the day she stopped the upper classmen in high school from beating me when I was a mere freshman. The day she came to my house to ask for help, I couldn't say no.
~flashback~
It was a rainy night. No one was home except for me. I heard a knock on my front door. I was hesitant at first, but after looking through the peep hole and seeing a familiar face I opened the door.
"Unni, what's wrong? You're soaked. Let me get you some dry clothes." I said as I got her a towel.
"You have to help me. My step mom wants to send me away but I don't want to go. I already consulted my dad and he is willing to pay the people in the states that are supposed to watch me for their silence on my arrival."
"So what is it you want me to do?" I asked unsure of what it was I could do.
"I don't know, I just had to let you know. You know I'm not her legitimate daughter, and that she's willing to do anything, I mean anything so that Leo inherents everything. I wanted to let you know in case you hear anything, just know I'll be ok. I'm going to Busan, my step mom never sets foot out of Seoul. I just have to ask for some clothes so that I don't get sick in these, and an umbrella." She said.
"Are you sure you'll be fine? Is that all you need?" I asked still trying to process what she had just said.
"Yes, this will be it. Thank you." She said and then have me a teary hug. "It's important that you don't tell anyone about this, or I could be in serious danger." She warned.
"I'll take it to my grave." I said as I handed her a packed lunch muy mom had left on the counter.~back to reality~
I didn't know how or if I should tell Leo. I wouldn't know how if giventhe chance. I decided to just forget about it for now. I played the tune that gave me nostalgia. After all these years, this was the only song my hands recognized. I played it over and over.i never got sick of it.
"Where did you learn that song?" Leo said while he rushed over to me.
"Hwa Young helped me compose it." I answered truthfully.
"But there's something missing" He said as he took a seat next to me and played the duet part with me. The part that only Hwa Young and I knew.
"How'd you know?" I asked him in shock.
"There wasn't a day that I wasn't present. Every day that you came over I listened to you play." He said sweetly. "And when I met you, I knew it was you. It had to be you. But now that I know for sure, I'm not letting you go." He said almost kissing me but N walked in.
"Guys, this is a sacred place in which music is made. If you guys could please tone down the lovey-doveyness that would be great, also, stay two feet away." N said jokingly but flinched when Leo picked his hand up as if he was going to smack him. Goodness this was going to be fun.
