Chapter ~14~

"Inuyasha, I am fine. You can put me down," I say as Inuyasha continues to carry me on his back.

I have been arguing with him all morning, that I was fine and that I could walk but he wasn't having it and just continued to carry me.

"No Kagome, I am carrying you, because I can still feel that you are in pain a little. Just stop arguing and just let me take care of you," he argues back at me turning to give me a firm look.

I know that he was being serious and no matter what I do or say he won't put me down. So I just stop arguing allowing my arms to hang loosely around his neck and my head resting on his shoulder.

We had left early in the morning, because of me. I had argued with everyone about the time we lost because of me. But I eventually won, and here we are again, Sango and Miroku riding Kirara with Shippo sleeping in Miroku's lap and Doru sleeping in Sango's lap.

I opened my eyes not realizing that they were closed and Inuyasha's pale neck was in my line of sight. Not a single blemish was on it, it was smooth and pale. Like vanilla ice cream. I shifted my head a little bit, and placed my lips on his neck.

I placed open mouthed kisses on his neck. This did not seem to effect Inuyasha, and if it did he was hiding it. I was planning to break Inuyasha.

Sucking on different part of Inuyasha's neck, I tried to find his sweet spot. After multiple minutes and a couple of red welts on Inuyasha's neck I found it. It was located where his neck and shoulder met. I should have known. I kissed t and I felt Inuyasha twitch. I smirked and sucked on it. Inuyasha gasped and I nipped at the spot.

"Let me have mate," a voice sounded in my head. The voice was like mine but a little deeper, more scary.

"Let me have my mate," there is was again. What is that?

I gasp and pull away from Inuyasha. My chest pounded and my hands turned sweaty. Something was inside my head. I pushed Inuyasha away and feel to the ground. I felt something clawing away in my head. I growled and snarled. What was happening?

"Give me my mate," I heard and my vision went black.

Miroku's POV

We heard Kagome growl and snarl and turned in time to see, her eyes turn red, her irises blue. Oh no, her full demon was taking control. Pink sparks were erupting around her. What is left of her spiritual powers are fighting her demon self.

"Kagome, get a hold of yourself," Inuyasha says, placing a hand on her shoulder, only to jerk it away, hissing in pain.

I quickly yet gently hand Shippo over to Sango and run up to Inuyasha. "Inuyasha you have to be careful, her full demon and spiritual powers are fighting each other, that is what is causing the pink sparks."

"What are we going to do she is in pain?" Inuyasha asks. I just shake my head not knowing what to do.

Kagome's growls and snarls grew louder as she thrashed around, fighting a battle only she could fight. I could almost see the gears grinding and turning in Inuyasha's head as he tried to come up with an idea that would help Kagome.

"Papa, what is happening to Mama?" I heard Shippo ask.

He was about to run over to Inuyasha but stopped when he heard Inuyasha. "Shippo stay there, Mama doesn't know what she is doing."

"Miroku, put a barrier around Kagome and I," he says and begins to walk towards the thrashing Kagome.

"But Inuyasha," I start to say but I'm cut off.

"Just do it," he growls.

Inuyasha's POV

How could I help Kagome? Why was her demon taking control? She wasn't in danger, she was kissing my neck. My neck. Her demon wanted to mark me. I had to Kagome, and shock her demon into submission.

"Miroku, put a barrier around Kagome and I," I say and begin walking towards my pained mate.

"But Inuyasha," Miroku begins but I cut him off.

"Just do it," I growl.

Once I reach Kagome, Miroku puts a barrier around us. I look at Shippo, he has tears down his face, I smile a reassuring smile at him and he nods his head. He knows I will help his Mama.

"Kagome, you need to get a hold of your youkai," I say looking into her red eyes.

She just growled in response, thrashing around. I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her, ignoring the pain that came from touching her. Kagome thrashed around more and more, I just hugged her tighter, trying for her to calm down.

"Submit," I growl, in youkai.

"No," she growls back in youkai.

I have to contain my shock, how did she know how to speak youkai.

"SUBMIT TO YOUR MATE AND ALPHA," I growl loudly and bite the temporary mating mark that is on her neck.

She gasps and thrashed but then after I growl more, she submits and goes limp in my arms. The purification sparks around her stop and I release her neck. Her eyes go back to normal. My skin burns and my vision blurs.

"Inuyasha, what," I don't hear the rest cause my vision goes black and I collapse.

Kagome's POV

"Inuyasha, Inuyasha," I say shaking him.

His eyes are closed. His hands were burned. There was a barrier around us and it disappeared. Miroku and Sango came towards us.

"No stay away, I don't want to hurt you guys," I yell at them.

"Kagome, inside Inuyasha's robe there is a herb that can ease his pain," Sango says.

"You have to chew it and then give it to Inuyasha," Miroku says.

"Mama," Shippo cried.

"No Shippo stay over there for a little bit. Mama doesn't want to hurt you," I say, taking the herb out and putting it in my mouth.

I chew and then gave it to Inuyasha.

"Miroku come help me lift Inuyasha up so that I can treat his wounds," I say.

We get Inuyasha place against a tree and I clean the burn marks that are scattered over his skin.

"What happened?" I ask, while cleaning the wounds and wrapping them.

"Your demon took over and what is left of your spiritual powers was fighting it. When Inuyasha touched you it purified him," Miroku says,

I gasp and look at Inuyasha. He must have been in so much pain. Oh Inuyasha I am so sorry I think and cry into his shoulder.

Hello my hanyous, OMG Kagome's youkai took over. I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Bad news, my furnace in my house is broken and where I live is expecting 30cm of snow today and tomorrow.
