Chapter ~4~

~Dream Sequence~ (no POV)
Ankoku stood leaning against a tree, an angry glare on his face, and his arms crossed over his chest.

"You're telling me that b!tch survived!" he yelled at a young girl that stood in front of him.

This girl was no more then eight years old. Her purple hair was short and horns stuck out at the top of her head. Her eyes were the colour of a purple poison. A tail swished back and forth the same colour of purple poison.

"Yes, Master Ankoku. I saw her with my own eyes," the girl said, looking down at the forest floor.

"How is that possible?" Ankoku asked, his brow furrowing.

"I do not Master," the young girl said.

"Well, Doru we will have to deal with these. We do not want to disappoint Naraku who knows what he will do," He said walking over to the girl.

"We Master?" Doru asked

"Yes, we. We are going to use your poison to kill Kagome," he said glaring at Doru as if to say I dare you to disobey me.

"Yes, Master. May I ask when we are leaving?" Doru asked, she didn't want to do this.

"Next week, we will leave to kill Kagome," Ankoku said, with a sadistic chuckle.

~End of Dream Sequence~

Kagome's POV

I shot awake, panting. Oh my god. Ankoku, had a little girl, with the power to control poison, and they are coming to kill me. I started to breath heavily and tears came pouring out of my eyes.

"Kagome, what's wrong? Does your chest hurt?" Inuyasha asked frantically, grasping my shoulders.

"Ankoku is coming. He has a little girl name Doru with him. She has powers over poison. They are coming to kill me." I said sobbing, grasping Inuyasha shoulders.

"When? When Kagome? When is Ankoku coming?" Inuyasha asked pulling me into his lap.

"In one we- week, he is com- coming in one week," I said, stumbling on words, as I sobbed.

"It's okay, don't worry, I'll protect you, no matter what. I won't let you get hurt," Inuyasha said running his hands through my hair.

"Mama?" I heard Shippo say, his voice thick with sleep."Are you okay?"

"Yes baby, I'm alright, go back to sleep," I said getting off Inuyasha's lap and sitting next to Shippo, stroking his hair. I heard him mumble an okay, and he was sleeping once again.

"You are really good with him," Inuyasha said, sitting beside me.

"Yeah, I want him to have a happy long life, I don't want him to suffer the sadness of losing his parents again," I said leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Yeah, me too," Inuyasha said putting his arm around me. "Go back to sleep Kagome, we have a hard day of training tomorrow" he whispered.

I nodded and drifted back to sleep.

I was trying to use the Iron Reaver Soul Stealer attack and could not do it. Inuyasha and I have been training for about two hours and both Inuyasha and I were starting to get frustrated.

"Iron Reaver Soul Stealer," I yelled when nothing happened.

"Kagome, lets take a break," Inuyasha said sitting on the ground. I sat beside him.

"Why can't I do it?" I asked.

"I don't know Kagome, I don't know," he said hugging me.

A scent crossed my nose and it made me gag. It smelled like a rotting carcase, and dirt. Wait, carcase, dirt, Kikyo. If Kikyo was near, I know Inuyasha will go looking for her, even if he loves me, he still loves her too.

"Go Inuyasha, Kikyo is near and she probably wants to see you," I said looking away.

"No Kagome, I love you, and we are going to tell Kikyo that we are together and that she needs to leave us alone and pass on in peace," he said looking lovingly into my eyes.

"Really Inuyasha?" I asked, my eyes showing how much I love him.

We walked towards where we could smell Kikyo. I was holding onto Inuyasha's hand tightly, scared at what was going to happen. Kikyo stood at the Goshinboku, her cold glare towards me made me flinch and hide behind Inuyasha.

"Kagome, you are a half demon, I had heard that you died, but it seems you are alive," she said, her voice shrap.

"Yes, Inuyasha and Midoriko saved me," I said, still slightly behind Inuyasha.

"Midoriko?" Kikyo asked angrily.

"Yes," Inuyasha said for me, his voice emotionless."Kikyo you need to go back to the land of the dead and pass on in peace,"

"No, not until I rid this world of two hanyous that do not belong," she exclaimed, raising her bow.

"No, Kikyo you need to leave," I said.

"No, you do," she said and fired her arrow. I dodged it.

She fired again and again, taking turns at firing at me and Inuyasha. An arrow was sticking out of Inuyasha's arm, blood dripping on the ground. I had to do something.

Raising my hand I yelled "Sacred Claws!"

Blades of purification headed towards Kikyo. They sliced through her. Her body turned to ashes. I felt bad for what I did, but at the same time, I felt good because now she can finally rest in peace.I knelled down in front of her ashes, giving a silent prayer.

"Let me patch that arm of yours," I said to Inuyasha when I heard him grunt. He had pulled the arrow it. He nodded.

We walked back to Kaede's and I patched his arm back up. Giving it a kiss, I leaned back and smiled.

"There all better," I said. Inuyasha nodded and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Let's get back to training," Inuyasha said, helping me up.

"Okay," I said.

"Papa, mama, can come too?" Shippo asked, giving us his big cute eyes.

"Of course, you can, but you are just watching this time. Okay." Inuyasha said picking up Shippo.

I smiled, Inuyasha was trying and succeeding at being a good father to Shippo. I knew after all of this is over. We would all be together, as a family.

Hello my little hanyous, I hope you enjoyed chapter four. Sorry to everyone who wanted Inuyasha's POV this chapter, but I will try in the next couple of chapters to add it.

I would like to dedicate this chapter to @dorudragon-wolfy, because she helped me with the character of Doru. Anyone else who wants to have a character in this story, and it fits in with the plot, I  will happily put it in because this is a fanfiction and it bends to my will, not the other way around.
