Sunday, 8am

The blonde casually walked down the stairs and went to the kitchen like every morning.

This time she ate cornflakes and swiped through her phone, checking if she had any new notification.

Not that she's popular and gets texts from everyone all the time but you never know.

She was so focused on her phone that she didn't notice her fiancé entering the kitchen.

He watched her and couldn't help but realize that she was in fact, really pretty.

And the way she pouted a little while being so concentrated made him feel a weird but warm sensation in his heart.

But he shook the feeling away immediately, not knowing what it was.

„When do you have to go to work?" He asked her straightforwardly, startling her to the point where she spit out the milk.

As she glared at him he began to laugh at her and pointed his finger at her.

„Well hello there!" She scoffed and wiped her mouth clean.

„A-answer!" He was calming down little by little.

„In 30 minutes, I'll be back at 11:30." She answered and put the dish into the dish cleaner before she washed her hands.

„Let our driver drive you there." He suggested and eyed her up and down.

He'd never understand why she would hide her body in those oversized male clothes when she didn't have anything to be insecure about.

Today she wore black leggings and a white long sweater.

If he had to be honest, she made those clothes look good but he still wanted her to be more feminine and wear more girly clothes.

What would people think of him otherwise? That he's into tomboys? Not happening.

„No need. I can walk there." She said and put on her only pair of white shoes while grabbing her white backpack.

„Alright..." He gave up because he knew she'd never listen to him anyways.

Before she could open the door to leave the house he stopped her.

„Give me your number, so you can call me if you need something and I can call you if I want something." He ordered.

She only sighed in defeat and handed her phone over to him so he could save his phone number in her contacts and the other way around too.

After he finished, she snatched her phone back and hurried outside.

A minutes after walking on the sidewalk Lucy suddenly got a text message.

Of course she curiously opened it and read it.

>>Let's play something together when you get home after work<<

It was her idiotic fiancée, of course.

Why did she even wonder?

But in all honesty, Lucy blushed and was kinda interested in that play idea of his.

At least she won't be too bored after work today!
