„Aaaaaaand~?" the blonde almost sang, looking expectantly at her fiancé who was gulping down a spoonful of his food.

To be honest, she didn't need an answer since his satisfied face was convincing enough.

The moment they entered the small, somewhat shabby, restaurant, Natsu wanted to leave
immediately with the words: "As if I sit down HERE!".

Luckily Lucy was able to convince him and they sat down on.

The restaurant was like a snack bar, with benches and small tables outside.

The food was freshly prepared and since Lucy was a regular customer, she was warmly welcomed by the owner.

„Is that your boyfriend?" the owner asked with a nice smile and looked at the man in front of her who obviously belonged to the upper class.

"We're ... just friends," Lucy smiled forcedly.

"Your food is perfect as always by the way!" she changed the subject and gave her a warm smile.

The old lady thanked her with a laugh, but was then called by other guests.

"Why did you lie?" Natsu asked after he had swallowed.

"Because she would have asked a hundred more questions. Especially because you don't look like you'd want to be with poorer people." Lucy whispered back and continued to eat her food.

"Even if it looks ugly here like....the food is okay." Natsu mumbled truthfully.

"I told you," Lucy winked, not knowing what feelings she sparked in the teenager.

"You can soon get rid of your stupid prejudices, right?" she giggled and gave him a friendly pat on the shoulder.

Natsu was not used to such behavior.

None of his friends or family was that ... outgoing and ... normal, without certain rules or manners.

When he ate with his family or friends, it was always in a fancy and expensive restaurant, they talked about politics, school or work and that was it.

Even when he was alone with his friends, there were still certain rules and manners that they obeyed.

It wasn't as warm and amusing as it was with his fiancé, he realized that quickly.

Somehow it made him happy, surely such a change could be good for him..?

But he wasn't sure if he could ever keep up with her ghetto lifestyle.

As he watched her, dozens of questions came to his mind.

How often does she go out?

Does she stay out until late at night?

Who is she always meeting?

What kind of friends does she have?

Did she really never have a boyfriend who might be just like her, therefore completely her type?

The more time passed, the more he worried about Lucy's personal life.

It made him feel uneasy that he knew so little about her.

He was all the more upset that he had so little in common with her.

He guessed that's why he wasn't her type.
