„How did you even know where he was?" Gray asked, his face and hair covered.

His mother worked as a medical assistant and she always forced him to bring face masks anywhere with him, so he could put them on whenever he felt like he was not in a safe environment.

They had successfully tracked Laxus down and it did take them no longer than half an hour to find him in a club near his house.

Natsu knew. Natsu always knew. He had followed Laxus several times just to gather evidence for Lucy, for her to break up with him. But in the end, he never dared to show her the pictures and videos. He could not bring it over his heart to see her sad.

She was his one and only treasure in life, and he would protect her forever. He would never let anyone near her and hurt her. She was his. And he couldn't be happier that she loved him back. Even if someone like him didn't deserve her. She was an angel. But he was selfish like that. Even if she was too good for him, he would still want her, yearn for her. And he would never let any other man take her away from him again. He was weak once. But he will not be weak twice.

He would take revenge on the man who almost took her life. He would avenge her pain and agony. His pain and agony.

He initially planned for Gray to distract the woman while he would go after Laxus. But this made it much easier for Natsu. That way, there was no need to involve a stranger in what he was about to do.
