Akash Pov
I kept on tossing and twisting around the bed the whole night and didn't even sleep a blink. My heart just kept on sending me weird signals that something big is going to happen. I don't know what is it? But I am very much scared. I just don't want to loose her this time. If she left me again I swear I will loose my sanity and will become mad.
I pushed the duvet aside and checked the time once again. I have been checking the time again and again in every minute as if my continuous checking will increase the pace of watch and the time will pass soon.
I stood up frustratedly and decided to go for a run. I genuinely need some fresh air. This hotel room is choking me down and I am getting depressed.
I ran around the hotel lawn as fast as possible. As if running fast will lead me to my destination and will solve all my queries. I cut the cold morning breeze to calm the rage that is going inside my mind.
I am feeling exactly the way I felt before when Sandhya had left me. Vulnerable!
After running for I don't know how long my breathing became uneven and harsh. I paused and started panting heavily. I rested my palms on my knees and bend down to calm myself a bit.
"Buddy.", I heard Satvik's voice.
I stood up straight and turn around to have a look on him. He came running towards me and said,
"What are you doing this early in the morning?"
"Are you blind? Can't you see I am running.", I replied irritatedly.
I am in no mood to have any kind of conversation with anyone.
"Nah! I am sleep walking. See my eyes are closed.", He closed his eyes dramatically in a funny way to lighten up my mood but I just looked at him weirdly.
"What's it Satvik?", I asked with the same irritation tone.
I know he is not going to leave me alone until and unless he succeeds in cheering up my mood. I am very lucky to have him as my best friend.
"I just came here to share a good news with you. If you don't want to listen then it's okay I won't tell you.", He said very smartly while creating the curiosity inside me.
"You are very smart. Say what's the good news?", I enquired.
"No it's okay. You don't have to listen it for me.", He said while trying to test my patience.
"Satvik.", I said sternly.
"Hehe! I took the permission from all the elders. They finally agreed to celebrate the mehendi function together. So, lift up your mood buddy we are visiting the girls cave.", He informed me.
"Really?", I enquired while grinning like a child.
"No I am joking.", He said.
"Satvik", I warned him.
"Okay okay! I am not joking. We are really going. I don't know about you but I am very excited to see my bride to be.", He said and went away while leaving me alone.
