The Wyrm-Devourer fell through the portal, and after landing in another forest, it rushed through the trees on its four clawed tentacles. All of its sensory organs worked to find prey. After a time, they found something; the Monster leapt to a large branch and looked down at the biomass. Humans, low risk. It bounded down, and in one motion, The Monster devoured the entire party of four; they couldn't even scream. Right now, it needed all the biomass it could get, so it stipped their bodies and quickly discarded the waste before leaping off.

It stayed high in the branches, always smelling, seeing and hearing its surroundings. In the distance, it heard a whisper and bounded off without a millisecond still. When the sound grew louder, and it could judge its source, it gripped hold of a trunk and slowly crept around it, wanting to stay hidden. The Devourer could make out numerous voices, and upon sniffing the air, it smelt Dragons.

It crept along a giant branch; it did not get far until the bark rose into a human form. The figure shattered in one lash, and the Devourer continued only to find the braches around bent. It tried to find a way out, but it became trapped in a nest-ball of woven branches. More figures emerged from the inside of the cage.

"I was gonna have this cool speech like these are my children and all here in under my care, and as their guardian, I can not let you hurt them. Well, something like that, guess I already did it," the Monster thrashed against the walls and roared in annoyance. "O be quiet, will you and let me have this moment."

The Devourer shrunk its mass to fit through the spaces and fell through the air. Gushes of acid chased it, "fine, I'll just kill you and give up one of my fantasies," Peter called after it.

Upon hitting the ground, the Devourer increased its size and bounded into the settlement. Vines burst from the earth around the Monster and fell.

"Everyone, stay back!" He yelled, I'll trap it and then convert the vines to acid, he thought. Bladed legs emerged from the Devourer's arms. Once they had gained enough speed, the Monster lashed its bladed tentacles to eviscerate the wall. "Fine," he said, "change of plans," Peter rose a large bark plate from the ground and another behind it, the Devourer lashed its tendrills at the structure, it holding against its strikes. Peter threw the second plate forwards with magic, and trees sprung from the first to try and skewer it. The Wyrm-torn reacted instantly, leaping upwards and pulling itself to another tree, with its branches growing after it.

The Devourer went airborne and scanned the area. Giant thorns flew after it from behind, but with eyes all around, it saw them coming. Shifting its body, it evaded the first and then bounded of one to the ground. With the legs along its tentacles pushing it forwards it raced ahead, with everyone running.

Stake trees ruptured from the ground, branches burst from them, and those branches created more. The Devourer jumped as the ground below became a mass of rising brown stakes. It kept away by grabbing and throwing itself up with a single tentacle then pulling it back as the air became branches.

Solar bulbs emerged from the giant trees, with the trees' upper canopies turning to huge solar flowers. The beams came fast and hard; they streamed through the air from all directions. With sight all around and a nimble body, the Great Devourer dodged each; the beams broke the branches with them shooting towards the Devourer. The braches rose higher, with the sides growing faster, so near the upper canopy the sun's strength burned the Monsters skin.

The top emitted a layer of solar energy; if it were not careful, it would soon jump to its death. The Devourer blasted a thick stream of might to blow through the thick wall of tangled branches knowing there was no other way. The Devourer merged with the laser and left the cage; the ray tore through the green floor and smashed those it crashed to the floor.
