I saw two Humans, one using vine magic the other using leaf magic. Their movements were mesmerizing, the way they twisted their bodies and swayed their arms; as if using their magic as an extension of their own bodies.
"See what I mean?" Peter asked.
"Indeed I do," I sighed, "I am sorry for how I acted before."
"Yeah, everything you come across wanted to kill you will have that effect, though, I think you'll find that is different now, for Humanity at least. Don't think peace with Devourers is possible though." I kept watching the Human Mancers duel each other until I asked.
"So, all here are related to you?
"Most of them are. On the old world, Enor kept us together along with the Draan." He stopped as if diving deep into his mind, "The Draan could not leave, but we could, so when we were no longer children, he let us out into the world. Of course, with us being cooped up in a cave for several years and us being teenagers, we were all extremely horny."
"You grew horns all over your bodies?" I asked, puzzled.
"No, it means we were lustful. We wanted to do that act that results in children. That bastard most likely knew," he said, gritting his teeth, "you know I've wondered what is love like for Dragons? He questioned.
"I think love is based on respect for the other's power. Also, making sure offspring will be strong, and for that, to happen, the parents need to share elements."
"Yes, well, we fell in love with Humans. We could change our appearance so we could be with anyone. We had children and would stay for a time until we had to leave. With us having elemental energy and being around Humans, Dragons could sense us. They hunted us; just try it yourself," he said, close your eyes." I closed them, and I could feel the Human magic users in front of me.
"Just as well we have Dragons here. If one tries to locate us, the elemental signatures of the Dragons will mask ours. I opened my eyes, and then I saw two bipedal Core-torn fighting.
"Core-torn!" I roared.
"Wa.." his voice cut off as I soared through the air and pinned one of them down. It had the same disgusting features as them. It even had pale hair and eyes. Its hands were claws that would have beautiful if not for their paleness.
"Drydra, stop!" Peter cried as I saw him rising from the ground.
"By Ominomgon, what is this thing, Humans with Core-torn limbs," I got off the boy, his face shrivelled, his claws turned back to hands, "freaks that can shapeshift," I muttered.
"I was going to tell you these are Shifters, the ones ancient Humans used to harvest their limbs," he said, placing his hands on their shoulders. One was female. The sacs on their chest meant they were female, was that right? "Ominomgon can turn into any Dragon and shapeshift to his desires, and the Primordials were born from him. That ability lay dormant in them due to their physical nature. Ominomgon's ability to shapeshift was then transferred to me when Biordial's elemental energy was shoved inside me. The power manifested in me as my appearance changing. I could use it due to my physical makeup, though I couldn't access it all due to my magic.
When I have a child, they will either be a Bioian or a Phyoian. There is a high chance they'll be either a Mage or a Shifter and a chance they'll have an ability or be born with extra features. Or they come out a normal person, with no magic or shifting ability, does happen sometimes."
"Do you ever stop talking? I asked, but Peter just shrugged his shoulders.
"Eh, we like to talk, like to use our words."
