"Come on, children," my mother said, "we need to find somewhere safe; stay close now." Staying very close to her, we all ran away from the wall and onto the battlefield. As soon as I got further in, I felt countless spells going off simultaneously, and the sensation froze me along with my siblings. My mother swept us up in her wings and carried us off as we slowly adapted to the new environment. My mother found an area with more Dragons than Elemontols and stamped her front feet on the ground to form a vine wall with holes for us to attack from.
All six of us slid down her wings and stuck each of our heads into one of the spots. My mother, with her head in the middle, fired devastating solar breath attacks. Each destroying multiple Elemontols at a time, along with vines to separate their orbs. I looked down at my brothers and sisters them fighting just as hard as I was; I aimed and fired, hitting one of them it staggering back.
"Mother, focus on the one I just hit," I said to her, hoping to kill it. My mother hit its entire body with a mighty ball of crackling solar energy, and the Elemontol next to it fell to the ground.
"Yes, Drydra," she said, "fighting that Scyclaw has made you strong, come now, do not stop get that one next." I looked at where my mother had destroyed an Elemontol; another was standing over it. It then turned its "head" sharply, looking directly at us, "run!" She roared with all five of my siblings, getting away with myself staying unsure of the danger.
"It is just another one. We can destroy it!" I roared after her, with my mother not answering; instead, she stomped her legs on the ground to slap me away with a vine. As I fell back, a solar beam tore through her body destroyed her head and ripping through her body. I looked up and saw the Elemontol soaring through the air; now, it was a threat. "Mother!" I screamed as I ran towards her. It was too late. The Elemontol came crashing down on my mother, crushing her body with its "feet."
"Live," she cried, her head already regenerated with solar energy building in her mouth to fire a solar laser, her eyes glaring at the Monster. Her head was severed with one backswing, and the energy expelled from both her mouth and neck. The two beams became wild, with myself having to sidestep as one cut a deep trench through the earth. When they ceased, it had her head in its "hand," the others watched on in frozen horror.
"Let her go!" I roared, shooting towards it.
"Stay back, Drydra!" she roared as bright green energy sparked off her body. I could not stop, even if I could. I would not.
"No!" I roared, and I saw her face sag, a thick vine burst from the ground and swung towards me. I rolled to the side only to be knocked back by another; I tumbled along the earth. "Mother!" I screamed, "what are you doing? Stop it. She smiled back, and then her face became stern with thick vines binding the Elemontol in place.
"I will not let you hurt my children!" She roared as the pure green energy emitting from her head surged violently, "you will never kill anyone ever again. Please run far away from here, my children," I saw the Elemontol tighten its grip around her, and as the same energy coursed through its "fingers", she was cut apart. Herself falling to the ground as shards along with her jaw. The fragments pulsed before they were crushed under its "foot". After it killed her, it snapped its gaze towards us and brandished its "claws." I felt my core become consumed entirely by rage. Only then could I move.
