Next Monday in school, Kacper was already waiting for me. When he saw me, he left his friends and walked towards me.

"Hi babe, how has the rest of the weekend been for you?" He asked and gave me a peck on the lips. I simply let it happen.

"Well after you left me alone in the middle of nowhere, I was lucky B-" I stopped and remembered what Billie said to me a few weeks ago. It was dangerous to be associated with her. Was that still the case? After all, a few weeks have passed.

"Are you gonna finish your sentence? Or have you already realized you're being ridiculous? There's something that's called busses. Didn't know you were a baby and don't know how to take a bus." He said annoyed.

"Yeah, but we were on a date," I countered.

"So basically, you think you're more important than anything else and I should have just canceled my friends because you don't know how to do simple things in life?"

Great, now I felt bad. On second thought: It wasn't his business who I was with after all. "I never said that! It is just a matter of principle. You don't leave your date alone in a strange place and then not even text them at all," I said pissed and unsure at the same time as I walked away.

"Wait, Casey!" He yelled and ran after me.

"Let me make it up to you. Another date. This Friday. We'll take my car this time and I'll drive you home afterwards. Deal?" He asked hopefully.

"I can't, I'm busy on Friday," I said and kept walking. I didn't tell him that that was the day Billie was supposed to take me out on a platonic date, to prove...whatever she wanted to prove, but I promised.

"Then Saturday, come on. I really want to see you again." He kept trying and I wondered whether I should or shouldn't say yes. After all, I wanted to go out with him, and he really put in an effort.

"Alright, but don't you dare end the date again after an hour." I finally consented.

"I told you last time I was seeing my friends later. Don't be a bitch about it now and act all surprised, but this time I won't. I'll cancel if they ask. For you." He smiled. "What's your next class? Do you want me to accompany you?" He asked sweetly.

"English and no it's fine. I can walk myself. Thank you." I said and walked off.

Billie was in my English class, but she didn't show up. I decided to text her and ask her if I can tell people about the 'date'.

Me: Can I tell people about Friday?

Almost by the end of the lesson she finally replied.

Billie: Last Friday or our date? ;)

Me: Both.

Billie: so you wanna talk about me?:P

Me: Don't be a dick now. I just don't wanna lie to my friends. So, what about those dudes?

Billie: I am a free woman.

Billie: Well almost, but I don't have anything to do anymore with those dudes who could have put you into danger, so you're fine. Don't worry. I wouldn't have reached out to you if I was still in contact with them.

Me: Okay.

Billie: Great. Now promise me to never talk about that night again!

I wasn't able to answer, because the bell rang. I went to the cafeteria, where my friends awaited me.

"You and Kacper are so cute, I'm dying," Ariana said. "Are you guys in a relationship now?" She asked thrilled.

"No, what no, who told you that? We're not in a relationship. We went on ONE date. On one." I defended myself. "Well, now two. He just asked me out on another date"
